Ok, then why do you care about what happens with Saints Row 4? The series isn't for you, man. Just let it go. They're not going to make a Saints Row game that you'll like. You have to be in the right mindset for that game and yours is not the mindset they're made for. You have to be able to not give a crap about characters, story, excellent gameplay, stuff like that, and just have fun messing around. I'm not compatible with certain series, so I don't waste time trying to like them.

I don't. The reason I mentioned SR4 was that both that IP along with Metro were be transferred over to Silver Deep which was all in the THQ report that I read. People change over time man, one doesn't simply disregard an entire series for the rest of their lives. I mean, when I was younger, I didn't like Ghost Recon at all, with the release of Advanced Warfighter, I was still a bit skeptical with my Dad purchasing it. I then popped it in and was in complete complete shock in the way they were able to change up the gameplay to my liking, etc.

They're so shitty that you can't even remember their stupid name!
January 30, 2013 at 12:12 am #72856Seibei4211MemberWell, had you been checking in with the Ghost Recon franchise every time they released a new game to see if you liked it? And when you didn't, did you talk about how you didn't like it and why you didn't like it? Or did you just try one or two of the games, decide you didn't like them, and stop paying attention to the series until your dad got that game?

It's a pretty sweet game. Miles better than the last one. I just have that shitty poker trophy and the co-op to get the plat. I suck at poker!
Okay so I'll admit that this game has won me over but I'm a little worried that this poker trophy could cost me the plat. Will try and follow Doc's tips when I get to the point I feel like taking the trophy on. Presumably the $1500 is accumulative?
February 2, 2013 at 6:41 pm #72891scotty243Member@ Em
Yes, the trophy is accumulative and there's also an optional side mission in the game that lets you play Poker and offers you about $2000 but I'm not sure if it counts towards the trophy or not? Just play on the highest difficulty and keep doing All In, you should have it in no time. If you're feeling a bit curious on where you're at in Poker in terms of money, just press Start, Handbook, then Square for statistics and go to world. That should show you how much you've earned over the entire course of your Poker time.
February 2, 2013 at 8:22 pm #72895gr8jrfanMemberEveryone has forgot to mention one thing! The true “ace up the sleeve”!! The game has a manual save system in the Pause menu. Save right before you go all in, load the save if you lose. That way you get the trophy and make money off of it!
February 2, 2013 at 8:37 pm #72898emdeepeeMemberOkay, cheers both. Will probably save this til the end rather than getting frustrated with it and letting it spoil the experience.
February 4, 2013 at 7:01 pm #72468Doc-BMemberIt's really not that bad, it def. won't cost you the plat…
I think when you get to the 'river' cards the game even tells you your hand probability on the right/left hand side of the screen every time you look at your cards?
I just played 4 games on easy, honestly took like 10-20min when I finally found a method that worked…Easy
February 5, 2013 at 4:52 pm #72904emdeepeeMemberSo somehow I managed to get the Poker Bully trophy whilst doing a random side quest meaning that the only trophy I have any worries over now is Rock Always Wins. I'm sure I've distracted well over 25 enemies but no ping! Any ideas?

That trophy seemed to take quite awhile for myself as well. What I suggest to do when you throw the rock, make sure the enemy or whoever walks towards the rock and scopes to the scene to make it work. If you're still feeling a bit cautious, then let them walk back to their original spot to be 100% sure it worked.

Popped this evening Scotty. Should have most of the SP done this evening then just the 4 co-op missions to go. When you're ready
February 11, 2013 at 1:59 pm #72924I773D33MABL3MemberThat trophy seems to be slightly glitchy. I was pelting rocks for the whole game yet only got it well into the second island.

That's quite interesting, never saw this in the game whatsoever.

This is way too hilarious.

I'm surprised you didn't know about those considering how hard you were praising this game. I totally would've missed them if my friend didn't point them out to me. They were nice little diversions. And I really like the later few minutes of that video. When Mintz-Plausse shoots at him: “Do you have any idea how fcuking rude that was?!” Vaas is so cool.
