This is my first guide, so be easy on me. I won't bother listing the trophy levels on each trophy because this game has the “great” idea of having them all BRONZE!
Disclaimer: Almost all trophies unlock after a match is finished. Mainly online.
Oh, it’s on! ( Castle / Soccer Easy )
Kill 10 enemies with any combination of classes in online games.
-Get a total of 10 kills. Has to have at least 2 classes with 1 kill. Online only.
Got wood? ( Castle / Soccer Medium )
Deliver 15 resources of wood or metal to the team’s stockpile in online games.
Pick the worker class and chop trees or metal / rocks, deliver them into outposts, soccer goals, or castle machines. After 15 total on your record online, the trophy should unlock.
1/2 the calories eat twice as much ( Castle Medium )
Feed the Princess 1500 Calories of food in a single online game.
The cakes are worth 100 calories each. Just give 15 cakes to the Prisoner ( Enemy Princess ) to unlock this trophy. Online only.
I need a hammer….. ( Castle Medium )
Build 30 Castle upgrades or Siege Weapons in online games.
You need the worker for this. Once your stockpile has enough wood / metal, upgrade a Hat Machine, or make ladders / trampolines.
This is Caketown! ( Castle / Soccer Easy )
Block 100 projectiles with your shield in online games.
Easy boosting trophy. Pick Warrior. Lock on to an enemy archer or mage and camp while they shoot your shield with arrows / fire or ice. After 100, ( Checkable in Stats ) this will unlock.
Shish Kebab ( Castle Easy )
Kill 50 enemies using the Fire Torch upgrade in online games.
When the Archer machine is upgraded, your castle gets Fire Torches, these boost your attack for a set amount of time. Kill 50 enemies total online with the fire upgrade. ( If you switch your weapon with the fire upgrade on, the fire disappears.
Your not cooking……. ( Soccer Easy )
Kill 100 enemies with Fire magic in online games.
Pick the Fire Mage, and kill 100 enemies with him. I recommend using a fully charged AoE ( Area of Effect ) attack to kill bots all at once most of the time.
Father McHealy ( Soccer Easy / Castle Hard )
Heal teammates for a total of 500 hearts in online games.
As a Priest, heal your teamates A LOT. Use the AoE to heal at least 30 hearts around the circle. This will come eventually.
Don’t make me slap you! ( Soccer / Castle Hard )
Slap 20 objects out of the enemy’s hands in online games.
You need to be a basic Villager ( No Hat ). You must smack Cake / Wood / Metal out an enemies hand with your basic punch attack. The enemy will drop the cake after 1-3 punches. You can easily boost this with a friend, if not, good luck.
Little Pecker ( Castle Hard )
Kill an enemy as a chicken in an online game.
You need to have an upgraded Mage Machine in your castle that makes rainbow potions. Throw this at an enemy and anyone caught in the blast will turn into a chicken. YOU MUST KILL SOMEONE AS YOURSELF AS A CHICKEN FOR THIS TROPHY. Recommended to throw when near an enemy so you can both be chickens and you can kill them. Boostable.
Fed Zepplin ( Castle Very Hard )
Rescue the Princess by using the enemy’s Catapult in an online game.
You must steal the your princess from the enemy castle, launch from their catapult into YOUR CASTLE, and put her in the throne. They cannot take her off the throne and you cannot be outside the castle from the catapult launch or the trophy will not unlock.
Who is your daddy….. ( Soccer Easy / Castle Hard )
Kill 6 enemies within 1 second in an online game.
In soccer, loads of enemies will go for the ball, go throw a Big Bomb or Fire AoE them. They will all blow up. ( I've killed 12 at once with a Big Bomb ).
Chubby Chaser ( Castle Very Hard )
Protect and escort the Princess 20 times in online games.
You need to steal your princess from the enemy castle, or escort someone ( Press circle when near ) who took the princess with you all the way back to your castle. If they take the princess off the throne, Kill them and put the princess back on the throne again.
The Dark Side ( Soccer / Castle Medium )
Kill 200 enemies by only using dark magic.
Dark Priest only. Just drain a majority of the enemies health, if the enemy dies by someone else you still get the kill. This will come eventually.
Ring Sting ( Soccer Easy / Castle Very Hard )
Heal, Burn, Curse and Freeze 6 characters at the same time in a single online game.
This is a bit confusing. You need to Heal 6 of your teamates at once. Then you can Burn 6 enemies at once. Then Curse 6 at once. Then Freeze 6 at once. THESE BURN AND FREEZE THINGS ARE SEPERATELY. YOU NEED TO DO IT IN ONE ONLINE GAME.
Operation Eagledrop ( Castle Medium )
Fly for 2000 meters in online games.
Build a catapult, and fly through it. I think it is about 20 times you have to fly on the catapult to unlock this trophy. It'll take a while to build the catapult, but once it's up, you can do this easily.
Thuggee ( Soccer Easy / Castle Very Hard )
Kill 88 enemies in a single online game without dying.
Once again, bost swarm the ball. Keep your distance and throw Big Bombs at them or burn them and run. Heal yourself when necessary.
1-800-CAKE ( Soccer / Castle Medium )
Kill 2253 players online with at least 50 kills using each class.
Kill a lot of people online. VILLAGER COUNTS AS A CLASS JUST SO YOU KNOW.
The cake is not a lie! ( Story Easy )
Complete The Legend of the Fat Princess.
Just beat all 7 chapters. Should take 1-2 hours.
Gluteus Maximus ( Gladiate Arena VERY Hard )
Defeat all Gladiate Arenas.
There is a Gladiate Arena for all 5 major classes. This will take patience to master and beat.
Cake or Death ( Soccer / Castle Very Hard )
Win 100 online games.
You have to win a total of 100 games online.
Thanks for viewing my trophy guide. Appreciate any feedback.

August 11, 2009 at 3:05 am #36636CoryAllenMemberhmm i already had posted a fat princess guide. but at least you're contributing lol
August 11, 2009 at 3:14 am #36638SketchyMidnightMemberOh I'm sorry Cory, but I can't find it?
I looked in the top menu but it linked me to a broken Gunstar Heroes Trophy Guide link.
EDIT: I found it. I'm deeply disappointed in myself =(
August 11, 2009 at 3:33 am #36640ThickbrowMemberCan someone add tips on beating the 6th stage on in each of the Gladiate Arenas.
I tried a few of them and I got to 8th stage with mage. Then died. sucked.
August 11, 2009 at 4:22 am #36641TomTom12992Member@ Thrickbrow
What you want to do is on the sixth stage lock on to the little buggers and keep running backwards and try to hit them like that.
I suggest using the Worker and I have already beat the gladiate thing with the Worker and I posted tips on CoryAllen`s Trophy guide for this game.August 11, 2009 at 2:10 pm #36665CoryAllenMemberSketchyMidnight said:

Bronze Trophy
Gluteus Maximus – Defeat all Gladiate arenas
*Note* If you do not receive your trophy right away; play through an online match and it should appear.
Making an online match and then leaving should also give you the trophy

-Each Gladiate Arena goes to Round 12
– Stand still to heal between rounds
-You can switch enemies by flicking the right analog stick in the direction of the desired target.
-On round 12 and sometimes on Round 11, some warriors and/or rangers will come out in a black armor atire. These are the Elite boss enemies and they have higher defense and attack than normal enemies.
-When Playing a round that involves a Fire Mage, stay close to either the left or right wall so that you can jump in the water and put yourself out when you catch fire. ~ Afrowhitey
-Always be on the move. Jumping around to avoid being hit by projectiles is always a good tactic.
-With any heavily injured unit, during any Round that contains more than one Priest, kill every enemy EXCEPT two Priests. Injur both of the Priests and while they heal each other stand still and heal to full hearts. ~ a_dirty_Shisno
-While healing in between rounds, you can cancel the “stand up” animation by jumping as soon as the final heart is full. ~ pasufarin

Priest
The priest is arguably the easiest character class to use to beat Gladiate Mode due to the fact that he comes with a team of 7 companions. (4 Warriors, 2 Archers, 1 Fire Mage)
Tips
-Drain Every Enemy down to a Red Heart and then switch targets and drain
-AoE Heal in between rounds
-Only switch to heal during the later rounds if it looks like one of your teammates is losing life quickly
-There are three ranged units that accompany you (2 Rangers and a fire mage). If you press up on the d-pad while next to them they will follow you while you're fighting. Because they are aiding you they only attack what you are targeting, which ensures the target you have drained of hearts will immediately die. Because they are ranged units you can drain from afar and they will still attack. ~ a_dirty_Shisno

Worker
The 2nd easiest character class to complete Gladiate Mode with
Tips
-Use Bombs the entire game. Never use the Axe.
-Jump and Throw bombs at the same time. Mario Jumping the whole game is key to survival with the Worker.
-Start the 11th round by sitting in the water and lobbing bombs at the first 3 mages. Their fireballs hit the wall of the pool and disappear. ~ Espiem_PSN

Warrior
Tips
-Mainly use the Sword and Shield
-Charge the sword and stand close to the gates so that when enemies come out you can kill them in one hit by releasing the charge.
-When facing a large amount of Archers/Mages/Priests (Round 9) Kill an enemy with a charged Sword attack, then switch immediately to the Halbred and charge it. Kill an enemy with the charged Halbred attack and immediately switch back to the Sword and charge it. Rinse and Repeat!

Archer
Tips
-Charge the Bow and hit an enemy with it. If the enemy does not die quickly switch to the Blunderbass and charge it.
By switching weapons you will get rid of the reload time of the gun and the bow and be able to shoot faster.
-Stay as far away from the enemy as possible and jump around to avoid being shot as always.
-In the case of the Archer, it is better to kill the Fire Mages before the Priest. One charged shot is all it takes to kill a fire mage and avoid their damage. ~ SageJMP
-When fighting against Archers after round 6, hit them with a fully charged Bow attack, then immediately switch to the Blunderbass and hit them with an uncharged shot to kill them. ~ a_dirty_Shisno
-The Archer has incredible aim assist. If you are facing in the general direction of an enemy, you will hit them without having to lock on. ~ a_dirty_Shisno

Mage
Tips
***I actually think the mage arena is much much easier if you only use the fire magic and avoid using the ice magic altogether… Charge the spell (doesn't have to be fully charged but has to be held long enough to set the enemies on fire), release, and then run away. Try to hit two or 3 people with each cast.*** ~ Callmecarbell
You want to use the fully charged up Fire AoE.
Get 3-4 people around you in a group (mostly Archers/Mages/Priests) and hit them all.
Jumping around while charging is a good way to try to avoid being hit. When you've hit them with the Fire AoE, you want to book it out of there and start charging up another round for the 2nd hit.
Most enemies will die from burn damage over time from a fully charged fire AoE.
Don't be worried if there are 2 archers shooting at you, just try to get them together with a few other enemies and hit them all with the charged attack.
The exception to waiting for a group is if you see a Dark Priest. Once you see a Dark Priest, let the fully charged AoE off on him while trying to hit others in the vicinity. The dark priest should die as soon as he's hit.

Final Thoughts
Although this is a very frustrating side game mode at times, it is pretty fun once you get used to it and start figuring out how to use the classes effectively.
Don't get upset when you die. Dying in Gladiate mode will happen and it wil happen often. Trust me, after finally beating all 5 Gladiate modes and getting my trophy, I ended with 5 Wins and 64 Losses on my Gladiate record.
Be persistent! Although a certain class may seem daunting at first, eventually you will get in the swing of things and beating each round will become second nature.
You will get better! Remember, this is a practice game mode. If for nothing else, think about how awesome your honed skills will be on the battlefield in multiplayer once you have mastered every arena!
Good Luck Everyone. You'll need it.
