The only games released this year that I have are BC2 and FFXIII but I plan on getting RDR later on today and I'm sure it can top them both. GOW3 wasn't that great imo. I enjoyed it but I'm glad I didn't buy, nothing much to do when you finish and I'd probably never play it again anyway.
Well, you are partly right about this. There are the Challenges of Olympus, the Arena,Titan and Chaos mode, and I hope that there will be some DLC.

I'd also like to give a “big up” to the general knoxx DLC for Borderlands, as it's prob. my fav. game overall on Ps3 and not only that, I'd say it is one of the, if not the, best all-round pieces of DLC released for any game…
Really? I thought the zombie island DLC was amazing, the mad moxi was horrible, wouldn't have been so bad if you could actually rank up while doing it.. but the general knoxx pissed me off. I felt like I had to drive for 20 minutes everytime I wanted to go do a mission and that really upset me. I did love all the new characters and kramerax tho… that was awesome =]

My fav. game was prob. Heavy Rain… Although it isn't without it's flaws, i'm a critic by nature…

This might change when i get my grubby little mit's on ModNation Racers today… Wasn't interested in this at all until i played the demo… The creation tools are awesome – I didn't play LBP so sorry if this is old hat to most people…
Hands down, especially if you're talking about value for money. The Knoxx DLC cost me ten quid and lasted longer than some retail games I've bought, I still haven't finished it.
Increased level cap, new vehicles, new enemies, new areas and a mountain of better guns. Everything an expansion should have.
Now I just have to beat that massive, armoured, slug thing…
As for my favourite game so far? Probably BC2. I'm not a big fan of online but this game sucked me in and is definitely the second best online game I've played. (Warhawk is still king!!)
But my opinion could change. I bought FFXIII and the GOW trilogy but I've yet to even put them in the console…

Not a single post for my favorite. Seriously, I hope everyone just somehow forgot. My favorite games for the year, in order, are…
1. Bioshock 2 – Was worried about the MP, but ended up being awesome
This game was way hyped… I think with the other title's that came out around the same time, a brilliant first game and a dodgy MP made this pretty average? It seems to have came and went in silence… I can't remember any of my friends talking about this much and hardly anyone on my friends list (30+) playing it, I don't think it brought anything new to the table in terms of gaming… (Not trying to cause an argument, just voicing an opinion)
ModNation racers is really good, the only thing that p!sses me off is the shady online… It's kicked me a couple of times when I'm WINNING – Are you kidding me? I know when it's sorted out, it'll work it's way back into my top 5 but just now it's pretty lame…
RDR is pretty sweet… Feels better somehow than JC2, i know it's better quality but it just feels better. I think it's the low level terrain, who knows… Spent ages just wondering about free-roam, gaining XP… Trying to do all the challenges – There is so much more than a simple free roam to do in MP, i spent a night going round collecting plant cuttings, lol… A combination of skill challenges and time consuming search missions. Prob my fav. all round game now and that's without playing much of the SP…
