So i looked for a thread like this and couldnt find one, (and since there has been a real lack oOF discussion on here lately……) What is your favorite final fantasy? Least Favorite?

My favorite has to be 8, solely because it was the first RPG game i ever played. I remember being about 13 and watching the opening cutsceen, with my jaw hanging on the floor. this game made me a huge fan of RPGs from that day forward. not to mention that triple triad was the best mini game ever (aside from geometry wars lol)

The worst FF IMO is FF 2.(Not U.S. 2 for the SNES. That game is stellar. Im speaking of the Japanese NES cart) this game sucks, you have to EQUIP YOUR ITEMS TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL HANDS……..EVERY BATTLE. that kills it after like 3 battles.

So…….whats everyone elses favorite FF's?

My favourite FF's in order are 7, 10 & then 8. 7 was the first rpg i ever played and the sheer scale of the game at the time was massive (3 discs), i played 8 next and it was good but never had the same impact as 7. Then on ps2 when 10 came out i was blown away with the graphics, voice acting and the size of the game (i think i pumped about 50 hours into it). My least favourite was X-2 (not really an rpg but part of the FF family all the same) i just thought it was shit.

X (10) For sure

First RPG and Final Fantasy I played which I picked up for dirt cheap when I was 10 or so.

In the words of nowadays it = OMFG.

Just got in a trance over it, I still play it to this day over and over.

X-2 was a bit crap on the otherhand, but don't take away the fact No.10 was one of the best!
