what is your favourite level in a game….
August 30, 2010 at 4:27 pm #66029parnakasMemberIn any game ever?
Wow… thats a toughy.
I loved pretty much every level in MGS4, they were all great. My favorite from that game is probably the last act though. Epic!!
Or maybe its the train level in Uncharted 2, that level was truly spectacular. The graphics at that part are un-touchable. And the moving sequences, the helicopter, all planned out so perfectly. Love that level.
If I had to choose a single level I guess I would say the train level in U2. Tough question though!
August 30, 2010 at 4:34 pm #66030RKF95MemberThat one level in Heavy Rain when Scott Shelby drives his car through the mansion and starts shotting everyone until he gets 2 the top and talk 2 the old guy(forgot his name).
That level just made that game IMO
August 30, 2010 at 10:06 pm #21110kingofgames73MemberThere was a level on Hitman:Blood Money, where you were on a small bright coloured street, and had to assasinate a crime lord and get his wifes necklace whilst they were having a bbq, i loved that level and constantly played it over again, not sure why, i just remember that level and playing it other and other!
As forboss levels? well some of those bosses from resistance 2 were pretty darn impressive and memorable, but i think most of my faves are from dead Space!
And as for a level that is a graphical masterpiece…..I'd go for the original Uncharted, graphics aren't as good as the sequel (well, nearly), but at that time they were perfection, i loved the bit near the start where you find the submarine in the waterfall, and looking down from the cliff edge/waterfalll at that view…..
August 31, 2010 at 2:43 am #66067GHOST305MemberAny Metal Gear Solid level 4 level would be one.
Also, for bosses…I cant help myself in saying that (although the graphics where not great) The battles in Shadow of the Colossus were my favorite (the scale of the battles were big for its time). I love that game and play it over and over!
August 31, 2010 at 7:09 am #66070gr8jrfanMemberAlmost any level in U2. Plus the GOW boss battles, the bank robbery mission in GTA4, The Power of Atom (FO3), and many, many others 🙂 Great thread idea Tray btw

Definately one of my favourites aswell (that I can remember).
In terms of graphics, any FFXIII level/scene would be my favourite.
August 31, 2010 at 4:24 pm #66077tridonMemberI have to also say that I love every level in Metal Gear Solid 4. My absolute favourite in that game would probably have to be the level where you return to Shadow Moses, though. Seeing all those MGS1 environments in HD had me ridiculously giddy. A close second would be the final level where you fight Liquid Ocelot for the final time. That battle was EPIC!!!
August 31, 2010 at 5:49 pm #66082monkeymoobsMember5th mission on Urban Chaos iot Response you start by pwning some douchebag in the face with a shottie then work your way through a city block beating the crap outta baddies with your riot sheild then save some civilians and a paramedic kill some mre baddies in a shop work your way upstairs an have a hostage situaion take out the hostage taker he then falls from the building on a rising helecopter which you then get in and m a minigun slaughter a few more baddies with it get set back down as it it gets shot with a RPG you run down to inspect the damage see they all dead and chase the guy into a sewer kill more badies n catch him by tazering his ass n if your feeling mean keep going til he catches fire just such an action packed level
August 31, 2010 at 7:17 pm #66086One-Wnged_AngelMemberDamn, that's tough.
Of all the games that I play, there can be some moments that I enjoy but forget over time. The most memorable would be the Gusty Garden Galaxy level on Super Mario Galaxy.
The train level in Uncharted 2 (chapter 13, I guess) was incredible too.
Also, anyone would enjoy the levels in The Legend of Zelda series… no denying it

September 1, 2010 at 12:02 am #66095parnakasMemberGlad to see more people with a similar love for MGS4
Tridon – Yea that was a great level! It was ridiculously cool to remember back to the MGS1 days! The final boss fight was hands down, the best hand-to-hand combat fight sequence ever. Don't care what anybody says. Its actually too epic. like, ACTUALLY.
As for boss battles, Liquid Snake ^^(Mentioned Above) fight was epic.
I loved all the bosses in that game, my favorite was Raging Raven though.. I think. And the sequence before and after the Raging Raven fight is freaking insane too!!September 1, 2010 at 4:22 am #66105HardAndSloppyMemberAny MGS 4 level or GOW 3 level. Those games are too bad-ass
September 1, 2010 at 9:33 pm #66120jenkem_addict88MemberThe most badass level in the history of badass levels is easily the casino night zone from sonic 2. I thought and thought and thought about this before posting in this thread. I happened to be sitting in my biology lecture and my answer came to me out of nowhere lol.
September 1, 2010 at 11:15 pm #66121emdeepeeMemberBeing taken back to The Docks during MGS4 with full on PS1 graphics. Hadn't played that game in so many years then awesome memories came flooding back.
Being told to plug my controller in to another port to defeat Psycho Mantis is still the “hair standing on my neck” moment in gaming for me.
