when i was on holiday i started playin final fantasy 7 on psp (off PSN) atm im quite far in, have got a few master materia, and really want 2 play it now on ps3. Is there any way ppl can think of to transfer the game save data onto my hdd on ps3? I've tried simply plugging my card in but it isnt visible on the ps3. any1 else had the sme problem?

lol, btw, i've got a green chocobo+ a blue chocobo, and am very close 2 black. This took me ages which is another reason i want 2 transfer the save data 😛

well, I don't have a PSP so this is purely speculation. On the PS3 I had to create a virtual memory card, so that the data was saved in PS1 format. Did you have to do that on PSP? If not, it may not be in the correct format. Otherwise, try accessing your card, and hit triangle. There should be a “show all” command on the menu, or something similar to that… I always used to have to hit that for my mp3s to show on my player, which was wierd. You also might need to make a virtual memory card before you can transfer it over. hope that helps!

can't you transfer the data onto the memory card? then just put it in the ps3's card reader.

have you tried just connecting the psp to the ps3 via USB?

you say it isn't visable… did you press triangle to show all?

kk, dont worry, its sorted now,

before i was trying 2 take the data off the memory card, but instead you just plug your psp in via usb, then the save data is shown

so, yes, shadeblack, that works
