I agree, with most annual sport games the tweaks and improvements could be done with “patches” and DLC's, no?
It seems crazy to pay £40-45 every time a new incarnation appears… Perhaps back in the day when improvments were quite big steps forward, but theres' only so much you can do with a game these days…
June 9, 2010 at 9:40 pm #62465June 10, 2010 at 12:11 am #62480pool96MemberI used to get FIFA every single year and play it religiously.
The last one I bought was FIFA 08 and I got bored of them after that. I doubt I'll buy this one as I am trying to cut down on games so I will probably only buy LittleBigPlanet 2, maybe Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and maybe Agent if it comes out. I think I heard Max Payne 3 was delayed until 2011 for “optimal release window”. 🙁

sorry to put a downer on what youve said but i really dont care.
as long as they keep producing a very high standard, fun, and LENGTHY (ive played it non-stop since release, and still love it now, UT obv helps though!) game im not really bothered about playing £40 coz its my fav game of the year and it has enough improvements and game modes to keep me going til the next one. (:

Not surprised, FIFA 08 was the worst of the series, the developers even admitted that. But since then the games are much better!
Theres more fluidity in the gameplay & feels much more realistic, along with individual player traits. The game modes have also improved, pro champ can be very addictive if you have a great team (just don't play it too much, arguments occur ).

Yes,you are right.A few gameplay tweaks here and there, and nicer grapchics are not worth for the high price tag.
