It is Kaka plus another player for every country, and obviously for UK it would be Wayne Rooney…

Yeah basically the same thing everytime except with a new roster and a few game modes. Which they can just release as DLC? Don't get me wrong, I like soccer…but not their games..I hate sports games.
August 25, 2010 at 1:49 pm #65772Gashead-64MemberNo, FIFA is the best game on PS3 every year.

nope, i can tell you dont have a clue about fifa, or even football for that matter. their is obv the transfer updates, but what about the MASSIVE update to the gameplay – personality plus? creation zone is also coming, as well as the new career mode (which theyve never done before, always been seperate), different player sizes and figures, obv updated player graphics and what the stadium looks like. i think there is a possibility theyre adding a training zone for inbetween games as well, which would be brilliant coz im sure i seen a pic which was iniesta indoors with a bib on, very realistic. then there is obv the minor updates to how the menus look and changes to the online head to head games.
so on your point, no i dont want dlc, coz they wouldnt put as much effort in and to release all that on dlc would be pretty stupid, considering theyre massive changes to the game, i'll gladly fork out £40 for this each and every year, and looking at the trailer it looks the game to beat this year.
August 25, 2010 at 3:34 pm #65780monkeymoobsMemberI agree with knoxie the game has come a long way getting better every time with the exception of 08 which was terrible but the rest have always added a lot of new things to game which I cba to into detail on plus I find it's one of very few games that I always go back to not like other games where you complete the story and all is over and also a great game to play with friends locally too

lol, 08 was my first fifa game and it really turned me off from the series, but then i got 10 and it is 1 of my favorite games, and ill gladly pay 60$ for 11 when it comes out. gonna be the 2nd best game of the year, right behind new vegas

it wont be the game to beat this year because its a sports game and the sports genre is a very casual genre so it wont be the game of the year. It will definitely be a fun game though and i will be picking it up

They can still release it as DLC and I don't think this will be considered one of the best games this year also..
August 26, 2010 at 1:03 am #65805NinjacatMemberThe wind waker has a point, no sports game is going to get any prestigious awards, like GotY or Most Innovative. They're just trying to hit the realism nail on the head, and most aren't doing that.
And, now I think about it, Fifa is in a field of its own. There aren't really any football games to contend with it. There's that one other one…I forgot its name, but it plays like Super Soccer 64. So, it sucks.
