Don't know about you but I find it frustrating when I want to fire up a game only to be confronted with a game update screen, which puts my PS3 out of action for the next 3 hours

It would be so much easier for me to run updates in the background when I'm busy doing other things (or my kids are watching TV).

So if you come across a game that has had an update can you post it here to save mine and possibly other people's frustration (and give us all maximum playing time ).

So to start off: COD W@W got an update today.

oh yes, i hate it too..

I get invited by my friends into a game, and then i cant join because i need to “update” the game, then by the time it is finished, my friends go offline.

I didnt play Resistance 2 for a while and that update took FOREVER but that was a while back..

Oh I hate that too. Like when I get the urge to play a game I haven't played in ages and then I have to do a 20 minute update. Sometimes I just can't be bothered and I go play something else instead

yeah i agree, a 100-300MB update for me takes like 2 sometimes 3 minutes and here i was thinking aussies get shit internet.

#Mine took approx. 25 mins, us Brits have crappy connections.

Well, everyone that i know talks about how PS3 sometimes takes forever to update things.. So im not sure it is the internet connection

it is connection or else it would take also near enough the same time whereas it doesnt… it took me 12mins for the new WaW download

80 mins mine only took 6-7 mins but i see what your on a bout was gonna go on burnout but saw over 5 huge updates and quit out same with LBP and Singstar
