Not too worried about 100% but be nice to pick up some of the others.

Hydrophobia is actually pretty cool. I was plesently surprised. It only takes a couple hours though, def worth the $2 I spent on it.

I only played it for about 10 minutes when I first downloaded it, wasn't very impressed and haven't looked at it since. Had a proper go last night and would have to agree with you. Not bad at all for a freebie

Dragon Age: Origins (Second playthrough, endings, locations, lvl. 20, DLC)

Infamous (Need 2 more playthroughs as I've not enough XP to purchase the powers both times I've played! )

I wasn't overwhelmed by Dishonored, another game I've completed but not got the Plat. for…

Some games just don't live up to the hype IMO, this being one.

Dishonored is probably single handedly the best game of 2012.

I have no idea where you got the idea of Dishonored being terrible. There really is nothing bad about the game. It's pretty much perfect.

Fred, you're better off just ignoring every opinion scotty has about video games. You'll be healthier that way. His opinions about games seem to be almost 100% based on how much he likes the story. That's the only reason I can think of to not like Dishonored, but think Spec Ops is the greatest. And if I'm not mistaken, I believe he prefers Deus Ex over Dishonored. Cause that makes sense.

I wouldn't say Dishonored is perfect or the best game of 2012 (Far Cry 3!) but I thought it was excellent. I've tried to understand Denzel's taste in videogames for as long as I've known him but I don't think I ever will. I have noticed a pattern though. Disaprove of the companies' business practices, be it DLC, pre-order bonuses, yearly iterations, whatever? It's instantly terrible, boring garbage in his eyes. But it's weird since I can't think of any particularly evil thing the Dishonored or MGS3 HD devs have actually done wrong, other than be in the same genre as Deus Ex. So he's also somewhat biased if a game doesn't get the attention he thinks it deserves.

So Denzel, your heart's in the right place, trying to care and make the videogame industry better with all this “vote with your wallet” nonsense, but at the end of the day: games are just games. I'd rather judge them on their own merit and have fun with them, not only because I enjoy them but because I did buy them, and they're not cheap. And I think if you did the same, you might find these games to suck less and be more entertaining.
