Anyone played it? Could do with a review, thinking about getting it to tide me over. Cheers in advance!

Fairly good gameplay mechanincs(Though driving could have been improved), some rpg elements are thrown into it(Purchasing Skill upgrades with money, classes for each your family members) and it's overall a pretty good game. The only fault I could find with it, though, is how little time it took me complete the game.

There are three maps in the game:Florida which is the biggest, next is Cuba and then New York being the smallest.I hope they add new maps to explore because the game itself felt short.
As for the gameplay, there are no real sidequest/minigames aside from taking over rackets, finding weapons upgrades, doing favors for corrupt officials and favors from citizens of every city for money or for a killing condition of a made men in a rival Family and finding a few good men to recruit for your family..other than the that the game is really easy to finish and getting the platinum but it's still enjoyable in my opinion even though it's too easy.

April 19, 2009 at 8:02 pm #23406gamer47MemberI have yet to play the game but have friends who have. They gave me a very similar rundown of the game as Yakumo89. The only complaint as well was the length of the game. (Which in some cases might be a good thing if you are after a short game to platinum).
April 19, 2009 at 8:10 pm #23407Doctor_RockMemberI dunno if it's worth picking it up then. May just rent it, see how I feel later.
April 21, 2009 at 11:12 pm #23549RogueAssasin6Memberi like it but the graphics arent good
April 22, 2009 at 1:01 am #23559KILLER369Memberyour best bet is to rent it 4 a week.
that way youl save urself quite a bit of money as it has no replay value at all
April 22, 2009 at 1:04 am #23561Yakumo89MemberUnless you enjoy using your mobster online and participating in a couple of matches to upgrade your gun liscence or for fun.
April 22, 2009 at 1:20 am #23563KILLER369Memberyeah but wats the point?
GF2 isnt naturally an online game, it just dont feel right. and wen U do upgrade ur gun licens, how R U gna use em wen U finished evrythin?
April 22, 2009 at 1:27 am #23564Yakumo89MemberTrue, GF2 is not naturally an online game, yet it is merely a suggestion for people who are fanatics of the Godfather game. In response to having the maximum gun licsense, there should be an upcoming booster pack with level 4 weapons which could be useful for the online fanatics.
