So theres my rant

ps3trophies.org just hit 1mil posts and had a giveaway, so maybe implementing something like that, for posts, trophy guides (I know u've done it b4).

But, I like APT because, like Jenkem, it's a small community. It sucks FOR BOOSTING but thats it imo.

Also, have you had a look at Gas' 400+ 'meaningless' posts. It disrupts the 'flow' of the thread and frustrates other members. I think this 'discussion' is about 2 months late though.

no, I add my thoughts and contribute to the site, rather than just moaning constantly.

Holy christ the admin is talking and gas is having a tangible thought?! ALL AT THE SAME TIME!?!?!?!? IDK if the stars aligned or if something was sacrificed or not but my mind is blown

i do agree with you gas, no way in hell of finding a boost partner. lol

That's what you don't get Gas, it does effect others… I'm not sure you fully understand the concept of a forum other than a 'place to post'.

Just because you do not care about something, doesn't mean it's no longer important. You lack consideration and respect to others. If you are young i hope it's something you will grow out of, cause it'll get you nowhere in life in the 'real world'. If your older then your just a douche

As to your comment of i only moan, perhaps now… Check some of my older posts and you'll see my epic amount of contribution to threads and the site. It's obvious you make 'off the cuff' remarks… Almost everything you say is without reasoning or fact.

I also love how one minute your like – 'Ok, i only did it just now, i stopped' then the second you think Admin's on your side your back being typical Gas. Your pretty funny and lame at the same time. Anyway, i've given you enough of the spotlight for one evening.

You think Gas is bad, but when I joined Shadeblack was the first member “approaching” 1000 posts. He's now on 1731 and Ratchet is on 4140. I think at one point Ratchet had made 10% of ALL posts made by ALL members on here. As you can imagine quality control with him wasn't high either!!!

I think one of the reasons there has been a lack of decent conversations on here recently is because there haven't really been any decent games worth discussing, hence the reason there are still arguments about MW2 vs U2 a year on.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow seems to be scoring well and has been described as a God of War 3 beater, but no one seems interested in sharing their thoughts on that (surely someone on here has played it). I've yet to play the game, but based on the buzz around it I'll try and get it soon and we can start having grown up discussions about that and all the other decent titles that are due over the next few months.

During all this, by the way, Gas has sent me a message on PSN saying just, 'lol on APT'. He's such an awesome guy. Ah well. Maybe when he hits puberty he'll mature into a somewhat useful member of the site.

And, Em is right, there aren't many games right now. But, what with the holiday season coming up fast we'll have tons to talk about. Medal of Honour, Black ops, LBP2, Dead Space 2, Killzone 3, GT5 and more. I know some of those are due for release next year, but we'll have new info on them over Christmas too.

I think we just have to leave admin to decide what to do with Gas. We don't have the power, he does. If you think he's a real nuisance to the site, report him. Perhaps with enough reports, we'll have action.

It's true that Gas isn't the first person we've had that has felt the need to voice every spark they're brain fires, but the community has shrunk considerably over the last year and now it's far more noticeable when a thread gets clogged with pointless posts.

I don't think it's fair to blame some of the problems on a lack of decent games either, I think that's just one of the disadvantages of having a smaller forum with young-ish members. MW2 and Uncharted were blockbuster titles that everyone bought (like GoW) but smaller releases (irrespective of quality) tend to get sparser coverage because only a handful of members have picked them up. And I can't remember the last time I saw a thread on a PSN game.

Thickbrow was a (crappy) troll but he at least made an effort. Some of the threads he got involved with ended up being the most popular discussions/fights.
