HELP my trophy sync isnt working :(

Mine works fine now, hadn't been on the PS3 all week so maybe you just need to stop trying to sync for a while

Hey I haven’t been online because I been playing MW2 non-stop. This happened to me when MW2 came out. Supposedly a patch fix it. It works for me now, but my cousin still didn’t want to sync. So this is what we did we play Resistance 2(Any retail game should do it.) and earn a trophy. Then we went to the XMB sync his trophies it said error. Then we went to his friendlist we compare trophies with one of his friends. It took a minute or two, but it sync with the servers. That how we fix his. Try it.

but anyway, IW has been having tons of trouble with trophies, since MW2s release, they have fixed them now, but i remember lots of issues, having to do with Spec Ops in particular.

Insania – Interesting.. did you not go on PS3 at all? or just not sign in and try to sync? Sounds like it could work.

My trophies don't sync either but I don't really mind as long as I can view my own trophies. Still, would like to see it fixed, before 360 fanboys start telling us that it doesn't work.

the 360 fanboys are probably on top of this already, seeing as they have no good exclusives to be playing.. hehe.

and i was comparing to say if it did have anything to do with how manys online those games it wouldnt have much to do with U2 as theres hardly any. MW2 had near 500,000 online at one point im sure, was the day before the servers went down i think. its never been below 250,000 when ive been on.

i'd rather be not able to sync my trophies than have YLOD…. AGAIN!

no,no,no. you saw modern warfare2 and uncharted2 in the same sentence and then because you are huge mw2 bias, you thoght that the almighty modern warfare2 didnt deserve to be in the same sentence or otherwise compared to uncharted2 and you gloated that mw2 is more popular. Thus, proving that you are a call of duty fanboy. HAHAHAHA i made you look dumb.

noone laughed, except yourself which is pretty dumb. at one point did i gloat? i was stating how manys online idiot. and no i aint biased to MW2, i like U2 but it isnt as good.

Its just the way you said it man.. you put like an insult.. like “See MW2 has all these people and U2 has very little”. Thats probably not what you meant, but it came out like an attack on U2.

And btw, if i may say, everyone bought U2 for the single player, then got treated to multiplayer as a bonus! Which is the way games should be…

back on topic: I just got my trophies to sync!! everyone, just keep trying at random times, and it will work. I unplugged my Router, then plugged it back in, went online, synced and it worked. Took some time though, so be patient.

I was gone for the weekend. During that time I bought new R&C. I came back home put the game in and get few trophys. Now I can't sync. It worked fine bofore I left on firday since I sync right before I left home.

Looks like it can be connected to the new firmaware patch. IF U dowlad it adn get a new game the trophys won;t sync. Strange thing is that it stops at random %. Once it went to 99% and I was so happy and then errror GRRRRR

nah, i didnt mean it like that & i know it was bought for SP, just stating.

yeah games should be like that… especially if they have not only an amazing SP but an epic MP…

btw my trophies are working for mw2 again!! i cut the ps3 on yesteerday put in mw2 and the trophies pinged lol. then i continued to beat veteran completely. wow its so much easier than cod5!!!

OK. Now I'm cofused. I came back to my home after work and tried to sync the trophys. IT work just fine after one try. I got few more trophys later in R&C and again I was not abel to synch. That makes me mad. Sony dont lie me when I'm mad 😀
