I quit… why I’m through with Uncharted 2

i will give you points 2) and 3)

the story is no were near as good as Drake's Fortune. I liked the small scale of it, and the jump to globe hopping adventure is too sudden.

Also, im not sure if your talking about the Guardians or the GAU troops, but i do dislike them both; the Gaurdian's are bitches to kill, and the GAUs i feel were added because ND wanted to axe in classes of ememies.

I do like this game, i would give it an 8/10 because of graphics, voice acting and multiplayer, however i would give Drake's Fortune a 9/10

Wow it’s like i’ve stepped back in time here all the way back to high school, some of you really show your age here and others are just whiny b*tch’s. Hey danny boi remember your little thread that was paying out everyone that you claimed your brother wrote *cough*bullsh!t. In there he stated it was his opinion so go punch him out 1st before bashing on Tridon.
Tridon good on you mate for stating your opinion, personally i have only played like 3 chapters of U2 so i can’t really agree or disagree with your comments but i will keep them in mind when i eventually get this. To all who were having a cry wake up to yourselves the world does not revolve around your thoughts and opinions and the sooner you learn this the better and for you younger who have yet to actually face the trials and tribulations of the real world you better start maturing up really quick because you will face much bigger problems then someone who doesn’t agree with everything you say. I hope this thread gets closed because yeah i have not been the perfect member of the forums but i will not stand by and watch people get attacked over their thoughts and opinions. To those of you that actually showed some maturity this was not directed at you at all.

Thanks Miiiitch and NinjaMidget. I appreciate you sticking up for me. And r23drummer, yes, those would be the guys I was talking about. As for the rest of you, grow the hell up. Seriously… how old are you? I'm a 27-year old man who had an opinion and decided to share it with the rest of the community. Don't like my opinion, fine. But don't you come on here and bash and curse me for no reason. That's incredibly immature and uncalled for.

I can't say I agree with your opinion, Tridon, but I can't say I disagree with it either. Sure, I think the game is fantastic with incredible graphics and awesome voice acting, not to mention the great gameplay mechanics (although I thought it was too easy… I completed Crushing without a single death), but the story isn't that great compared to the first one. The game froze on me twice and while that can be annoying, it didn't stop me from enjoying the experience. I still prefer the first Uncharted because I loved the story, and while the second one is good as well, it's not that deep or compelling as the first one was.

This is not the 1st bad review. There was 1 review (on an actual gaming website) where the reviewer thought it was way too overrated. He still gave the game an 8/10 and the comments following that review were crazy:

“Oh this reviewer is just a 360 fanboy who can't enjoy anything on the PS3”

“He didn't like the game just because he sucks at videogames anyways”

Hey, I didn't like the game either. Deadklown hates it too (sorry to drag you into this LOL). Thats the problem with the internet today, you say you don't like a game like Uncharted 2 and people will really attack you like THEY made it or something.

HOWEVER – Tridon, you did make 1 mistake though. Always remember your audience when you post something like this. You're listing your COMPLAINTS (complaints are never well recieved anyways) about Uncharted 2 on a website where the majority of other users are outspokenly massive fans of the game.

Thats like me listing my reasons I don't like 360 on xbox.com…. of course i'm gonna get flamed, no matter how fair and valid those reasons may be

wow! I too cant believe some dislikes this game. It is his opinion though. as for some of the reasons though, I dont think its your copy of the games. You are the first person i have read or heard about having those control issues or framerate drops. Your ps3's gpu might be starting to go bad and it cant handle all the action and thats why its slowing down in some spots. If your response to that was ” Well it only happens on this game” Then i say to you look at this games graphics, i am sure this has a pretty big pull on the processor.

As i said in the beggining.Its your opinion and your entitled to it,but more than 30 perfect score reviews cant be wrong.

I'd get Modern Warfare 2 cause I'm not a massive fan of third person games.

I already got MW2 and it's the best thing ever to be imaged on my Tv.

Iv'e only rented the game so far, twice to be precise and after finishing it once ( on easy as well ), I've decided that it is no longer on my list of “Games that I really really really want right now”. I mean it is awesome and I never did get to try mulltiplayer but after the disappointing final boss battle, which I found very difficult even on easy, it felt like such a huge let down to the cool way that the story was presented. *SPOILERS*

Meaning how you work your way up to the start of the game in the first half and then conclude it after that. But right now, I just doesn't seem worth it to me… Borderlands here I come!

No problem. And don't worry; I'm not going anywhere. I'm used to some people being immature and/or ignorant on forums. Usually everyone is really good but you always get that odd bad apple in the bunch. Honestly, I'm not surprised of the attacks on me. It wasn't called for but it was expected.

ANYWAY, just to make the naysayers out there happy, I decided to continue with Uncharted 2 until the end. I'm still mindset on what I said, though. I just figured I'd see it through to the end. I will give you this, though. The ending is amazingly funny. I'm glad I finished playing just to see that video and yes, that video alone makes me look forward to the inevitable third game. I just hope that with the third outting, Naughty Dog spends more time working the bugs out of the single player mode before releasing. Like I said before, Uncharted should be a single player experience first, multiplayer second.

I agree with you completely. You KNOW you are going to get flamed or hated on by posting your OPINIONS on the internet. You definitely should expect it when you post negative comments about a game, where most of the forum enjoys or even loves the game.

In all honesty, Tridon wasn't even flamed by anyone. It could have been much, much worse. I read all posts over again, and I did not see any flaming of Tridon at all. So his comments about the “attacks” on him are completely false and in his head.
