I'm a bit confused as to why no-one has done this yet.ย I suppose it's because people like to create an alias – an alternative life that they can hide behind.
Well, I do like to make names for myself, but never to hide.
My name is Kyle.ย A.K.A Shade Black, Feldoln and rarely, Wintershield.
ย Currently 19 years old.
Things I love: Watching Movies, Playing games, IT, Website Design and Creation, Computer Maintenance, PC Repair, Philosophy, Psychology, Some Science. Supernatural stuffs (Varied).ย Alcohol (Spirits and pops).
Religion: Christian, but in no way as Christian as you might think.
September 8, 2008 at 1:39 pm #16749PlayzockerMemberVery good idea ๐
My name is Clemens and I live in Vienna which is the capitol of Austria. I am 20 years old and love watching movies and (since the PS3 has arrived) playing videogames. I played before but the suddenly stopped out of a lock of time. Now I TAKE the time whenever I want to play videogames. ๐
I have installed a specail PS3-room in the basement with 5.1 surround sound and an HD ready projector (Sanyo Z5) which gives me great sound and a 2 meter screen – what a great feeling – both for movies and for games.
Normally, I'm studying to become a teacher (of Englisch and Physics/Chemistry) and I also work for a DVD/BD homepage called DVD-Forum.at. There, I write DVD/BD-reviews and compare different versions of a film (like R-Rated and Unrated).
Alcohol is nice sometimes … and sometimes it's even nicer if you have too much. Well, not the next day but who cares about the next day. ๐
No religion at all!

September 8, 2008 at 3:24 pm #16756shadeblackParticipantnice to meet you all!
A little bit more about me, since others brought it up in their own intro.
I didn't go to uni, nor will I, but I am still studying with a college called CTC.ย I'm doing a course in Advanced Computer Maintenance and Networking by CompTIA A+.ย You may have heard of this company if you're into the same stuff as me.ย The great thing about the course I'm doing is that I get to study from home, which gives me plenty of time to do what I want.
I don't have a full-time job, since I am taking the time to both study and relax a lot.ย I love sleeping, which is a bit of a curse to be honest – I have been known to sleep for up to 14 hours on a normal occasion.ย Although, I once stayed in bed, doing nothing but sleep for two days.ย That was a good weekdend ๐
I play the Piano.ย Unfortunately, I stopped playing for a long time, and lost a bit of my ability to play, and so I can only play at about a 2nd or 3rd grade level now.ย I was known to do an 8th grade piece occasionally.
I say I enjoy drinking alcohol… What I mean is that I enjoy to drink, but not get completely drunk.ย Being drunk just makes me feel ill, so I prefer to just have a couple, which IMO, is far more enjoyable when out with friends.
Although I don't have a HD projector, or a special room in the basement (since almost no one has basements in england), I do have a 40″ samsung series 5 1080p tv, a samsung dvd 5.1 home theatre with surround sound, Sky HD, and PC all connected up together.ย
uh, that'll do for now, ๐
September 8, 2008 at 7:01 pm #16764PlayzockerMemberThe porblem is that we only have old TVs and buying a new one in a size that would be acceptable for me (shoulbe be bigger than 1m) is very expensive. Paid 850 bucks for the Z5 and the screen is about ten times the size of any normal “big” TV. I LOVE gaming or watching movies (Blu-rays, DVDs look terrible at that size) there.
@ AfroFish: Since you're Canadian … do you by any chance know the Arrogant Worms? They seem to be very famous in Canada bvut around here I'm basically the only one knowing them.

September 9, 2008 at 12:31 am #16807shadeblackParticipantwho you callin' worms?
September 9, 2008 at 12:37 am #16809PlayzockerMemberIt's almost impossible to find stuff they made on the web (legally) but there is one great song I found:
Canada's Really Big
http://www.deezer.com/track/92538The funny thing: This song is in an English textbook you can get in Austrian schools. I basically laughed my ass off when the teacher turned on the CD player and this song started. ๐
September 9, 2008 at 2:42 am #16814shadeblackParticipantwhat's that got to do with anythin'?
September 9, 2008 at 12:00 pm #16822PlayzockerMemberThat was just a random example of the Arrogant Worms since – apart from AfroFish – no one seems to know them here as well ๐
My favorite music comes from either them, Johnny Cash or Eminem.
September 9, 2008 at 2:39 pm #16828shadeblackParticipanteh? what genre of music do you like then?
September 9, 2008 at 2:44 pm #16832PlayzockerMemberThis is VERY much mixed. I love old stuff, I love new Hip Hop, RnB and sometimes eben House-stuff (David Guetta is cool too) and the kind of country-comedy-music the Worms do is also fine. Other guys reguarly on my playlist are Timbaland, Cat Stevens and Elvis ๐
September 10, 2008 at 8:42 pm #16905Fe77a7iMemberIm normally into alternative
