step one: go to blockbuster or anywhere you can rent a game
step two: rent the game
step three: switch the disks
step four: get the game of your choice and play it for a platinum
step five: give the disk back to your cousin
step six: return your rented game
step seven: take a nap in your favorite chair knowing you are the master…

February 23, 2010 at 12:36 am #58293tdsoil2Memberwhere do you rent from that it costs you ten dollars to rent a game?
February 23, 2010 at 12:48 am #58294shadeblackParticipantwhy do people argue about such things…
do a bit of research and you'll find…
originally, blu-ray discs had hard outer housing for protection similar to professional tape disks and such.
this was seen as too expensive, and as such, hard coating was chosen instead.
TDK made the first working protection method, and was named Durabis.
most companies now produce their own yet equally as good hard coating protection methods.
blu-rays are required by law to be scratch resistant.
dvds, are not.

Well, the game freezes 99.9% of the time right after an online game..
February 23, 2010 at 5:00 pm #58313BigWoopMagazineMemberI would go with the rental switch ratchet, since buying even a used copy of the game is going to cost you 3 times as much.
February 23, 2010 at 6:52 pm #58331Doc-BMemberJust as long as your rental place don't check the discs on return! There are some places that will just take the disc back without checking, this is the kind of place you need to try…
Just in case you try the “swap” method and get rumbled in the shop. Now that would be embarrassing
February 23, 2010 at 7:11 pm #58334kingofgames73Memberwell theres a place in blockbusters for rentals and they all have drop in boxes were you just your rentals back when your finihe i tem, so no other the counter conversations or check ups however they do take your adres etc, so if under desperate measures you may want to fake it, but dont be too obvious have an adress, name, d.o.n etc at hand. or you could be honest and just explain what happened rather than get into more lying and even more trouble…its a classic anime programme situation..

Youre the master.
I was playing the game yesterday and it worked so i guess most of the time it works. I got like 12 bucks with me right now so when I get a chance to go to block buster before my cousin wants the game back I'll try to do it..
