ParticipantI'm definitely getting it when it comes out for ps3.

well… I know they're just rumours and valve says they're currently not doing it, but I think it will make it's way one day.

Memberi used to have it on PC, i didnt really like it. Maybe it will be better on PS3, but who knows.

lol, sry but i completely disagree, dead rising is a rip off, whereas left 4 dead offers so much more.

Memberim defiantl going to get it also shade it rumured EA are making it that'll be the only let down but other than that i hope if it arrives itll be good

I found L4D to be repetitive, boring, and overall just a lackluster experience. But again, thats just me.

i think its a ripf off since its not really a proper game in story ways its also more of a comedy game in my opinion you can wear lego hats dress as a woman ect ect but number 2 looks more serious (besides from all the duck tape) so hopefully if thats better i might consider geting number 2

isn't that the point of dead rising? To forget about serious games and just have fun? Isn't it ok for some games to just be about having fun? Not care about the story?
L4D has a very stupid story too btw.

If anything, Left 4 Dead is always something different. the enemies are random and makes a great online experience (especially when playing with friends). being the infected yourself is LOADS of fun – I especially like the hunters and jumping around everywhere.
As for story… considering Dead Rising isn't exactly original, I'd consider L4D something moreso because it's purely just about these 4 survivors. essentially, Zombie / infected games have the same story anyway, so how can you even argue that?
I dunno how you can call L4D repetitive when Dead Rising, in your own words is just “running around and killing zombies with the most random objects.”
Ah well… The way I see it is, you either like one or the other. that's what it seems to be so far anyways.

i see what you are saying. I'm trying to say that Dead rising is just plain fun, and you can use a lot of different weapons, so its never the same.
And yes, it would seem you like Dead Rising or L4D not both.

MemberL4D wasn't that great. Its not bad, but it just got so much rediculous hype and its primarily because its a valve game, and they brought us so much other great game material. I was personally dissapointed it wasn't come to ps3, until I played it. It'd be nice, but not that big a loss. HL2 E3 on the other hand, I can't wait, and is there any more news on this or does it just not exist? Thats what I really want from valve, that and more portal levels, or an actual shooter game with the portal gun. How fantastic would that be, creating portals you could shoot through, or just so you can jump out behind your enemies? I see some rediculous gameplay with something like that, and I'm really surprised they haven't tried doing it yet.
