I'd say trade in your YLOD when it's fixed and get a new console. You might be tempting fate to coax your PS3 back to life and then launch into a week long plat marathon

i already have a 250gb slim im selling the 40gb on ebay if i get it working. then wen it sells the month long challenge begins!! it all rests on my 40gb being fixed because thats where im getting the funds to buy the games so fingers crossed im able to fix it so i can WIN the challenge lol

and this is precisely the reason I will never buy a PS3 off e-bay…

y? im doing nothing wrong if i fix it im stating on the listing that it had the ylod but i managed to fix it if someone is prepared to buy it knowing it may break in the future thats there tuff im being truthfull

my dad builds computers and is good with electronics so hes going to give it a go on saturday thanks for the other tho if he is unable to fix it il consider sending it to you mate.
