SACKBOY!!! rules lol. Playstation is talking about making him the mascot for Sony. or more so the Playstation.

and im also excited for this game haha, looks like SO much freaking fun

ya you can, i can tell you now, some people are gonna make alot of money off making levels, and there will be contests and all this other jazz haha.

think of it like this:

if you made one truly amazing level that everyone wanted, but couldn't be bothered to make themselves, posted it, and set it up as a fee:

Example (A lot of guesswork)

fee: 50p

if one million people buy it, that's £500,000

Even if Sony takes 90% of that, you'll still get £50,000

life changing money. But it would have to be ONE HELL of a good level!

this game looks awesome i really can't wait. As for making money I read somewhere that the process for LBP and home-level-makers would go like this.

the maps people make will get rated etc as people download them and play them, the LBP guys said they'll keep an eye on people who are making consistently popular community maps and possibly ask a few of them to come along and together build a DLC map pack for the playstation store. I doubt anyone'll be making 50 K it'll be a one off payment and sony will own all the rights i would imagine. But still, not a bad deal and there is the possibility of getting experience from them and who knows, maybe getting a job in the future.

I think trophies will be a cert. Not bothered as this should be awesome as long as it doesn’t get over hyped. COUGH halo 3 COUGH

Nope, I don't think so, would be great but that's not the way.

You can design and create levels yourself – whether you get anything for that is still not clear.

you can make your own levels and put them online for other players to donwload. you WON'T get money for doing this. but the development team have said it's a possibility that if people consistently make levels that are very very popular theres a chance that those level creators will be asked to work with them to produce some new levels that will be made available as DLC for a small fee.

There will only a few people with consistently popular level so any 1 persons chance is slim.
