It explains the whole trophy system mathematically. It sais, for instance, that every bronze trophy is worth 1 point, a silber 2, a gols 6 and a platinum 14, but the last figure hasn't been confirmed yet.
Gulzt, the author of the article, also found out, that PSN games are always worth 21 points in total, expansions are worth 6. Retail games are worth 82 games. Reaching level 5, for instance, needs 160 points – whick already has been confirmed.
I thought that Sony must have worked out a concept so that every game is worth basically the same (like with the gamerscore) and that one game does not “trow away” gold trophies just to make people buy it. It's also interesting to see that even though Buzz has 25 trophies and Uncharted has 48, in total both games are worth exactly the same for your “levelling up progress”.
