Anyone still playing Warhawk?
To start off, I could use a clan to unlock “Enlistee” and “Warlord” if leadership is passed around to me eventually. I saw some trophies potentially require some help from clan members; might gonna try to work for those.
If nothing else, boosting sounds good.
February 11, 2010 at 2:10 pm #57502I773D33MABL3MemberExactly how much boosting are you talking about? Warhawk isn't one of those games you can play for a couple of days and hit the top ranks.
February 11, 2010 at 2:50 pm #57504ZakuroMemberI'm not actually talking about boosting to hit the top ranks; at least just enough to satisfy the IAR (In A Round) Requirements of the Warhawk Level Badges.
If there's no clan at the moment (from this forum), I can start one, but I'll be needing at least 9 others to join me (preferably the ones who have not unlock “Warlord” trophy yet) and we can switch leadership around.
February 11, 2010 at 10:54 pm #57539I773D33MABL3MemberI've no problem helping you out mate. I loved Warhawk and it'll be nice to have an excuse to get back into it. I don't know what state the servers are in though. I have a clan set up so that shouldn't be a problem. Do you have a head-set?

I just played this game and so far I'm quite relieved that there are quite a number of players still playing in the Official servers (high rankers obviously).
Yes, I do have a headset.
February 13, 2010 at 5:07 pm #57662I773D33MABL3MemberPost your PSN here and we can organise something then. I don't need any trophies myself but I have no problem helping you out anyway.
February 13, 2010 at 6:43 pm #57672Yakumo89MemberZakuro, that boosting idea may not be so great.
I think I would like to bring up what a late member, l8scent, posted several months ago:
” I also stumbled upon similar information a long while back. I just did some digging tonight and found many horror stories of stats being wiped. The sad part is that some people have had their stats wiped when they legitimately ranked up. They just selected “quick play” and ended up in a stat boosting game that was being monitored. I guess the developers at warhawk have decided to really crack down. There are random moderators, who monitor gameplay unbeknownst to the players. If they suspect anything illegitimate every person in that particular server gets their stats wiped.
If you want more info just type 'warhawk stats wiped' into google… you'll find tons of forums on this.
For example, I found this on another forum… can't guarantee the truth in it but it seems legit…
'Dear Warhawk players,
Recently we have observed a bump in the number of 'stats padding' games (games where players artificially pad their stats).
Please be forewarned that this practice will not be tolerated and players engaging in such actions will be subject to the Sony EULA banning rules.
We will wipe the offending player's stats and institute a 1 day ban. If the same behavior is again observed these players will be banned for much longer periods.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

February 13, 2010 at 7:22 pm #57676I773D33MABL3MemberThat's only for stat boosting. Quite a few of the 'in a round' trophies can be got in a private match.
February 13, 2010 at 11:37 pm #57718Yakumo89MemberI773D33MABL3: True.
However, I want to emphasize that several servers are being monitored. Therefore, if one was to try and boost, I would recommend not doing it in a blatant manner like getting as many trophies as possible in a round while the other player just stands still.
February 13, 2010 at 11:53 pm #57721I773D33MABL3MemberThey had to start monitoring the servers, boosting had got to a point where people were setting up servers dedicated to it all day. If you call your game “200 points every round” you deserve to have your stats wiped. I don't think they monitor the unranked matches though, they tend to just police games that affect rankings.
February 14, 2010 at 12:02 am #57722Yakumo89MemberOh, I thought that the monitors would watch all types of matches. Never mind then.

Thanks I773D33MABL3. My PSNID is Zakuro_81.
If it's true that the IAR requirements can be ticked off in an unranked match, that'll be great since the moderators did not say anything about doing any boosting in unranked matches.
February 15, 2010 at 2:51 pm #57874Doc-BMemberI'd be up for that like, i never play warhawk… Was one of the first games i got…
Send me a message about it – Doc-B (I also have a headset)
February 15, 2010 at 9:42 pm #57901ZakuroMemberI thought that I should take the initiative and thus created my own clan (Starscreamers [STAR]) and therefore, achieved “Enlistee” trophy.
Now I need 9 more members to get “Warlord” trophy. If you guys want to join, let me know. Leadership shall be passed around within the clan so that everyone will get it.
