Ok so recently I played through Borderlands and got the to lvl 50; however, i did not recieve the trophy. I realized that I got the trophy while i was signed out and it was during that PS3 clock issue (which prevented most people from playing online). Assuming that the issue was that i got the trophy during the problem…A person on allps3trophies suggested that i can play a splitscreen game with a new character and my lv 50 character and i should be able to get that lvl1 character to lvl 50 and get the trophy. After about 3 1/2 weeks of running through Eridian Promentory, i got my new player to lvl 50, and yet i did not recieve the trophy. I know my trophies work bc i got the lvl 61 trophy for my other character right after that. The lvl 50 trophy is the only one i need for the platinum and I really trying hard to figure out what I am doing wrong. Can anybody help me?

March 12, 2010 at 11:43 pm #59726I773D33MABL3MemberFirst off, I feel your pain. I had the same problem with two of the trophies for 'The Secret Armoury…' expansion.
You should try and get in touch with Gearbox as they are able to remotely trigger trophies and they can check your trophy list to see that you should have it.
Failing that I think your only option is to start again.
As a long shot if you put your save game onto another PS3 and don't sync your trophies sometimes certain trophies will be re-triggered when you load up the game. They disappear as soon as you sync because they're duplicates but your lvl 50 trophy should stay.

Then again, they may just direct you to contact Sony about the problem, but I would get in touch with gearbox. That sucks though man, bc that trophy was a pain.
March 13, 2010 at 12:10 am #59730xxKnightmarExxMemberThat was me that recommended you do that, I presumed it would of worked, the only thing that comes to mind is for you to either try the patch (which I presume you have since you mentioned reaching Lvl 61) or to contact Gearbox and explain the situation,
Good Luck.

I do know that sometimes (and this was more a problem when trophies first got implemented) if the save data isn't detected as originating from the system you're playing on, trophies won't pop. As a result, you may need to start an entire new save file (not just a new character), in order to get them… which would kinda suck, but you could back up the old stuff, delete em, do a new one, then trade back. This could also be an enormous waste of time though,,, but its what I had to do back when Burnout Paradise got trophies.
March 17, 2010 at 11:55 pm #59967I773D33MABL3MemberSony are never too interested when you have a problem with a specific game. They tend to only get off their arses when it's your console that's borked.
I wouldn't recommend phoning Gearbox either. You might get lucky with tech support but you'll most likely end up talking to some temp called Vishnu who won't have a fcuking clue.
I think you're best chance to get somewhere is on their forums. Often moderators are members of the development team and these are the guys you want to get hold of.
