Madden NFL 10 Trophy Guide

Ok first of all make sure to go to the settings menu and change the options to all pro and 5 minute quarters. Then go to CPU skill and slide all of the sliders from 50% to 0. If you would like to make these trophies easier to obtain make a special roster. Trade all of the people you have to play against onto one team so you can work for more than one trophy at a time.  Then lower all the teams' stats to 12. This should make it much easier to pull off these tasks. Also a lot of these trophies are easier if you use two controllers for some tasks and although you can't get trophies in co op you can get them if you play with 2 controllers. Sprint 2 Minute Drill (Bronze)

Win after being behind in the final 2 minutes of a game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Refer to Super Bowl MVP-like.

Fight for the Fumble (Bronze)

Win possession of the ball after a fumble pile-up. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Hit L1 to try to strip the ball then jump on the ball and hope for a pile up. If one happens, mash the buttons you are prompted to push rapidly to win possession.

Frozen Tundra (Bronze)

Win at Lambeau Field in freezing weather. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Turn the weather to heavy snow and the stadium to the packers. Then just win a game.

The Gang's All Here (Bronze)

Trigger a gang tackle with 7+ players. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

There are two ways to do this. One way is to use 2 controllers and pick goal line as the formation and a run like HB lead for offense and pick quarter formation and prevent for defense. Run the HB through the line and once you get into the open field the secondary should hit you. Quickly and repeatedly hit R3 (the hit stick) up. It should keep you on your feet fighting for ground; try to get 7 to tackle you. The other way is to not use two controllers and to make a running back that will be on the opposing team that is 400 pounds. Let them run it up the middle and to try to perform a big gang tackle. This way is much harder.

Well played. Really. (Bronze)

Throw the ball away on 4th down. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Push R3 to throw the ball away. Just hit R3 four times in a row to get this trophy. Intentional grounding will not affect this trophy so don't worry about the penalty for throwing it away.

Mature Newbie (Bronze)

Create a player or Superstar at the oldest possible age.

Go to my madden, creation zone, then create a player and change the players age to the oldest age. Then save him and the trophy will come up.

Safety Inspection Required (Bronze)

Create a team from Springfield

Go to create a team and change the city to Springfield, then save and the trophy will pop up.

All Day No Way (Silver)

Record 3 tackles for a loss on Adrian Peterson. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

Either use two controllers and have your friend run back then tackle him 3 times or if you don't have two controllers change the entire O-line's stats to 12 so you can break through and tackle Adrian for a loss. The trophy won't pop up until the game ends.

Buzzkill (Silver)

Intercept a pass intended for Randy Moss. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

Start by lowering the QB and Randy moss's stats. For this use two controllers. With one controller pick a pass play and for the other pick a good coverage play. Throw the ball to randy moss with one controller then grab the other and run and pick it off.

From Me To You (Silver)

Complete a pass for a TD with your partner in an Online Co-op game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro

The description doesn't say this but I found out you have to catch the ball in the endzone. Work the ball up the field, and then throw a pass into the endzone to your partner for a TD.

Go Back to Basketball (Silver)

Tackle Antonio Gates inside the 5 yard line. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can tackle Gates in the endzone and you'll get the trophy. If not just tackle him inside the 5.

Go Bag Some Groceries (Silver)

Force Kurt Warner to fumble on a sack. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

Go to the rosters and edit Warner. Change carrying to 12. This will cause him to fumble much easier. Then when you hit him hit L1 and hope for a strip.

Have to Be This Tall to Ride (Silver)

Stiff arm or juke Bob Sanders. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

Change Bob's stats so that his tackling is down to 12. Then pick a pitch play. The 1^st or 2^nd person to try to tackle you will be him. Stiff arm him for another easy trophy.

Hey Buddy! (Silver)

Complete a lateral with your partner in an Online Co-Op game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro

Do this on the kickoff. Either you or your partner catch the ball then get in front of your partner. Then hit L2 for a lateral.

Larry Stickyfingers (Silver)

Get 10 user catches (no drops) with Larry Fitzgerald. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

This is almost impossible to do without using two controllers. For the defense pick field goal block. For offense pick any pass play and hot route Fitzgerald to a streak. Throw the ball, switch to him, run, and catch the ball. Make sure to hit triangle to catch it each time or you won't get the trophy. The trophy won't come up until the end of the game so make sure to do about 15 catches just in case.

Laser Arm? (Silver)

Intercept Peyton Manning 3 times. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

Pick a good pass coverage play and intercept him three times. This trophy will pop up when the game ends.

Mr. Not-So-Perfect (Silver)

Intercept a Tom Brady pass. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

All you have to do is pick him off to get the trophy.

Nothing Without the Dark Visor (Silver)

Force a LaDanian Tomlinson fumble. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op)

Lower his carrying stats to 12. Then break through the line and hit L1 and hope for a strip.

Look what I found! (Gold)

Win a fumble pile-up in the end zone for a TD. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Either get the ball to the one yard line and lateral the ball and hope for a good bounce so it lands in the endzone or punt the ball within the five and strip the ball from the QB. Then just pile up on the ball and win the pile up.

Nano (Gold)

Sack the QB before he can hand the ball off. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Do a blitz play. Break through the line and hit the QB before he can hand the ball off.

Pocket Monster (Gold)

Stay in the pocket for at least 10 seconds. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Turn your O-line stats all the way up and lower the D-line stats to 12. Then just stand in the pocket until the trophy pops up.

Super Bowl MVP-like (Gold)

Catch a TD to take the lead with under 30 seconds left. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

Let the other team score a touchdown. Then go down and score a field goal. Then just shut out the other team. After halftime start doing running plays; you can burn out the entire 3^rd quarter and all but 30 seconds of the fourth if you make sure to burn out the entire clock and use every down. When you're on the 5 yard line with 30 seconds left, throw an easy slant route for a touchdown.

Why Can't We Be Friends? (Gold)

Complete an online Co-Op game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro

You don't have to win a game just play one.

Wounded Duck (Gold)

Complete a pass to an unintended receiver. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op)

The easiest way to get this is to use the run n' gun play book and run out of the wildcat formation with the redskins; throw a pass for Santana moss when he starts his crossing route and the pass will go right to the TE. If you have troubles with this then just do a Hail Mary pass and change to the receiver next to the intended receiver and run over and catch the ball away from your team mate.
