I think MAG could be an amazing game, the 256 players online almost means its a must buy for me, but other things I would like to see:
– Realistic bullet damage, like COD.
– Customizable weapons
– Variety of terrain maps, ranging from urban warfare, to desert plains, to jungles.
– Parachuting system (think thats gonna be in it)
If anyones ever played World war two: battleground europe, they have a system where you have one huge map and only two sides, axis and allies. There are towns and citys scattered all over the map. If we could sort of parachute in and take control of the town/city that would be wicked.

it won't ever be. you know why?
humans are vulnerable things. one shot, they're dead.

NOOOO! really? I said like cod, few bullets = death, not like warhawk.
February 5, 2009 at 11:44 pm #21028parnakasMembermaybe realistic bullet damage as in how it breaks through the wood and stuff.
yea shades right and i like when it takes 4-5 shots to kill someone.

actually you'll find it depends where you shoot people : a shot in the hand wont kill you , even a shot in the head might not , whilst falling down steps might…..humans being vulnerable but also incredibly resistant and lucky. but i'd REALLY like to not be able to shoot somebody in cod5 through the ass and kill'em.
February 6, 2009 at 3:32 pm #21047shadeblackParticipantnot only does it depend on the person, but it also depends if there are hospitals nearby, which on a battlefield there isn't, and also depends with what gun you're being shot by.
so yeah. one shot IS enough to kill you.
February 6, 2009 at 5:34 pm #21056kingawolMemberbut also it might not. lol. just messing with ya…
February 6, 2009 at 5:36 pm #21057kingawolMemberbut realistic damage in a game would be not killing somebody with a shot to the arm.
February 6, 2009 at 10:01 pm #21060shadeblackParticipantyeah i know what you mean.
there was a game on the playstation called Vagrant Story. it's battle system was revolutionary at the time. what's more, it was able to figure what weapon what do how much damage to the enemy on different parts of its body.
February 7, 2009 at 12:09 am #21063kingawolMemberdont know it , but sounds like there were ideas devs should use nowadays…
February 7, 2009 at 1:30 am #21066shadeblackParticipantnot many people actually knew about vagrant story, but it was a really great game.
another game that was pretty good was Koudelka.
Actually, iff you think about the VATS system they have in Fallout3, that's what it was in Vagrant story, all those years ago.
Fallout 3 was not much more impressive either. i hated the trailer they did where they were oh-so proud of 'thier' VATS system.
