Well I gone gotten up and went done did it…

The 'Fortune Hunter Club' is still £19.99… For pretty much the exact same content as Rock* are offering… People seem happy with that?? And prop's to Rock* for, from what I've seen so far, staying off the 'Network pass' bandwagon…
I enjoyed the Uncharted MP even though I only borrowed it from a friend and bought the Network Pass for the Plat…. And from what I've seen the MP looks a lot like Uncharted?? So if I'm gonna play the MP it makes sense to save on the maps… Even if it is till the end of 2012… Having one good MP (I hope) is more than enough for me TBH… Rock* are pretty good with third person games, this is gonna pull the Rock*, Max Payne, Uncharted(?) and general 'shooter'(?) crowd, so the MP should be well populated? I'm beasting it till i get the 'Bullet Time' perk 'Gang Wars' is looking good… Fingers crossed for this one…
(Yes, I am pretty much directly comparing this to the Uncharted MP… Although IMO I think I'll enjoy Max Payne3 more)

One think I'm confused about it the 'Cemetery DLC'… It's a map, but if it's not included in the Season Pass, it must be on the disc… And that would mean, just like the other pre-order DLC's offered, it's only an 'instant access' code…
So…
Does the SP unlock some of the MP or what… I'm confused…
I'm looking forward to this game so much I might just go make a 'Crew Emblem' right now!
May 19, 2012 at 9:52 pm #71779scotty243MemberJust finished Max Payne 3 on Hard with Free-Aim and I honestly thought Rockstar could have done better with the story. Not even playing the actual game I saw some of the stuff coming from just the trailers and when playing the game I was not surprised. I didn't have any emotional connection with the characters (maybe Max or Passos IDK) and simply did not care if something happened to them. But, the gameplay was superb and is it me or does MP3 need a horde style mode? Oh, and the Multi-Player I thought was kinda fun but not my type of deal. Good thing I rented this one.

Well what the actual fcuk
Is this the result of patch 1.02? Or is it MP 'maintenance' due to the modded lobby reports… They could have least announced it… Can't even seem to get on the Social Club page so I'm guessing it's an internal thing…
I'm not alone though so i hope they fix this soon… Like NOW, GOD DAMMIT!!

Are you sure? I mean Max Payne 3's Single-Player needs a Patch soon due to the number of Glitchs I ran into.

Yeah, for sure… The kills were worth 25xp but now it's 50xp… Everything else has been bumped up to…
January 1, 2013 at 9:11 pm #72638scotty243MemberSo, um, fcuk this game. Made it to the end of Chapter V in New York Minute Hardcore and was shooting all the guys in the boat where Fabianna was, then BAM!! Fabianna falls to the ground and FAILED. I'll be attempting this mode later on in the week. It was surprisingly easier than I thought it was but I ran into a few glitches while doing this mode such as:
Chapter III: In the stadium where you automatically take cover, it's around some memorial spot, Max got stuck in the cover and was unable to get out unless he went into Last Stand, which thankfully, I had more than enough Painkillers to get me through that spot.
I didn't make it further into that specific mode but there are others where Max was in Last Stand and his gun would literally be in front of the person who shot him, I pull the trigger, the gun is firing but the enemy is being shot?!
January 3, 2013 at 8:36 pm #72642Doc-BMemberI tried to play this on hard with no aim assit straight away and it kicked my ass hard!! Beasted MP a bit and ain't looked at it since
I might just have to lick my wounds and start again on average I want to play this but I put myself off, is it a good game though??

If your playing aim assisted MP you can get tons of points with the right loadout depending on the level… I beasted it before they even changed the XP Lvl's for the No0bs
Although saying that I do play aim assisted MP, and suck ass at the main game

Despite my issues with this game and my issues with past Rockstar games, this game is diappointing and boring. Max essentially walks throughout the game mowing down thousands of cocksuckers, talks in goddamn monotone throughout without being funny or clever throughout (besides 2 lines of dialogue that I chuckled at ), as well as annoying as fcuk characters!!
If you've seen Man on Fire with Denzel Washington, you've played this game. It's the note for note the EXACT equivalent of that film, besides the ending. The plot is predictable and all the characters are either annoying or brain dead dumb. On top of that, this whole game is so fcuking serious all the time, but defies that with it's dumbass gameplay logic.
Once you've played the first hour or so of the game, you will have played the entire game. Nothing changes at all. No inventive slow-mo set pieces and 2 interesting levels?! Which are before half way through the game?! You'll run into glitches where Max will take cover, and just stay in cover. I ran into one on my New York Minute Hardcore where enemies would turn INVISIBLE?! Ugh…
Oh, and speaking of XP in MP, there are certain specific assault rifles which mow guys down, left and right. It's such a grind though to play, although it is fun from time to time.
Thankfully I did get to experience Max Payne 2, which motivates me to get 3's plat, it was THAT good.
