Are you sure about that? Wikipedia says the first game was developed by Dreamworks Interactive, which is now EA Los Angeles
Hmm maybe it wasn't Medal of Honor. I think they worked on a medal of honor game though..

The founders at Infinity Ward worked for EA at the time of the 1st MOH, then they started their own company (IW) to compete with the EA series
