I accompanied two friends I made from the Kane and Lynch 2 boost in their dumb endeavor to have all the plats for serious online grind trophy lists. I went with them just 4 months ago and there is a LARGE faction of people still into the online. Hell, there's hundreds more people than MOH's online community! And yet, we slipped into empty servers enough to say that I think snagging them isn't impossible. I started out as a Level 1 and you take a bit of a beating at first, but I'd say we'd all adjust fairly quick. I have small enough progress that I wouldn't be way ahead of any of you, so if this is the route we chose, there'd be no division between us.
But BFBC was more of an example. I think we could do it for sure but I think GRFS sounds fcukin' rad, actually. The co-op campaign may finally be an APT/Coalition team up that isn't on a shitty game! The competitive is supposedly easy to boost, too, so I'd rather do Future Soldier first.
January 22, 2013 at 9:58 pm #72755scotty243MemberIf we do Future Soldier, might want to grant me some time on picking that up as I at least want to have a few games done before that (and because I don't have the cash for that, at the moment ). Also, does this game sell a Season Pass or something on the side? 'Cause some of those DLC pieces are looking a bit pricey for just a small amount of content….
@gr8
Are you still doing the co-op campaign with that one guy? Or have you two forgotten about it? Because I need to get some of the tactical challenges I have left as well as pick up the co-op buddy trophy. I don't mind doing a second playthrough since I didn't get the “full” tactical “experience” with any buddies
January 23, 2013 at 1:40 am #72756I773D33MABL3MemberMyself and Kris were actually looking through our trophy lists earlier for games we'd like to boost and GRFS was definitely top of the pile. I have all of the SP done but I've barely touched the MP and I have none of the DLCs.
I know the co-op stuff is 4 pax but if we were to try and boost the competetive online then we have a few people. Both myself and VaeVictas have copies and Kris is picking it up. Across the water Nathan has it and if Denzel grabs a copy then we're up to five. And there's the added bonus of being able to play more than one poxy game of a single router so I can borrow them off mates as well and stack up.
As for BFBC, it's a serious undertaking. VaeVictas got the plat without boosting but that took ages, the awards are a nightmare. each of them practically requires a boost of it's own.
January 23, 2013 at 1:45 am #72757gr8jrfanMemberI am, technically. I could just as easily tell him that I have no interest in it anymore or get back in the game with him. I don't think we've made any progress whatsoever in 5 months so I don't think it'd be a big deal to him either way. I'd rather do it with you guys and 4 people instead of 2. And yeah, take your time getting it. I'm saying we shouldn't forget these boosting threads because they're a success, not immediately pick up another boost right afterwards.
Kris still needs to get Black Ops 2 after all…
January 23, 2013 at 2:03 am #72759scotty243MemberAlrighty, this is going to be a serious beast to 100% Also, do you guys know any information about the Friend Challenges? I've heard you probably need to go as far as removing friends off of your list?!
Also, do any of you guys know if the Raven Strike DLC is co-op or just solo? I wouldn't have a problem doing it solo since the main campaign on Elite was fun although a bit too tough at times and I'd like to not feel so isolated during the Ghost Recon “experience”
I can't give an exact date as to when I'm picking this up, since Dead Space 3 and Aliens: Colonial Marines will eat up my wallet, but it won't be in May or anything. Will pick up the DLC with the main game since it'd be a waste going through the entire plat and having to do a second run just for some MP trophies.
January 23, 2013 at 5:41 pm #72760KriggsMemberOk I havn't been on in a bit so here's an update for you guys:
I have a new housemate moving in this week and he owns Black Ops 2 so that is a go quite soon, also last night I stayed up till 5 am and beat all the Medal of Homo single player, Tier 1 and beating it on hard ( beating it on hard took me 3 hours and 45 minutes, what a game) so all that's left is to finish in the top 3 (must be close) earn 1000 support points (also close) and reach rank 15 (I'm at 12 I think) then I can leave that game alone.
Next game we should do is Black ops 2, I've not played it but I'm sure we can ace it. As for BFBC I'd love to take part but it will be very hard at this stage. Who knows how glitchy that game is now. And then on to ghost recon, How hard is that and what does it entail?
@ Vaevictis and gr8jrfan
Get your asses on to Red Faction Armageddon so we can put that one to bed, it's absolute p!ss to finish the multiplayer in it.
January 23, 2013 at 8:52 pm #72762scotty243Member@ Kriggs
It's probably too much to ask, but is it possible if you could lend me a hand in Red Faction? I've had that on my list at 6% since it was a rental, but I can basically pick it up for free this weekend to improve my completion rate I just need the ones that require 4 man groups or whatever but if not, boosting threads will do
January 23, 2013 at 9:23 pm #72763KriggsMemberSorry man I don't have the first one, and by the sounds of it it's an absolute pain in the ass to get, especially at this stage.
January 23, 2013 at 11:43 pm #72764scotty243Member@ Kriggs
I meant Armageddon
January 24, 2013 at 12:22 am #72766I773D33MABL3MemberArmageddon is absolute piss to plat. The MP can be done in one sitting. Myself and kris laughed our way through rounds 1-30. Getting to round 10 without anyone bleeding out will be doable while sleeping!
February 1, 2013 at 12:47 am #72874I773D33MABL3MemberOkay, so this seems to have fallen by the wayside. We all seem to be running off to our next boost but we haven't finished this one.
Would this Saturday night (2/2/13) suit everyone again? The first priority is getting emdeepee Fire Controller and then those of us that are still grinding can just squad up and play for XP.
Anyone/Everyone okay with that?
February 1, 2013 at 2:35 am #72875gr8jrfanMemberSame time again? I'll be there. We won't leave you in the dust, em!
February 1, 2013 at 1:03 pm #72876emdeepeeMemberI'm up for this so long as Scotty is happy to postpone our FC3 co-op run thorugh. 8pm okay?
February 1, 2013 at 9:14 pm #72881scotty243MemberI'm… I'm not crying
I'm up for it, but may just leave my PS3 on because I might leave sometime before or during the boost, but it shouldn't be a problem if we can find an empty room
February 1, 2013 at 11:47 pm #72884gr8jrfanMemberJust make sure you have an analog stick held down or something because if you're gone for too long, you get kicked for inactivity.
