Hey guys, I searched to see if there was a similar thread but couldn't find one, forgive me if there is…
Ok, if anybody can help me to get this up & running I'll be eternally grateful!! Seriously, it's driving me mad
I've scoured countless forums for info, tried every conceivable option (including using PS3 MediaServer & TVersity instead of WMP 11) & yet it still doesn't want to work!
I'll try to lay it out as clearly as possible –
I had Media Sharing set up between my Vaio & PS3 (both wireless), but then due to a virus I had to reinstall the network drivers, I did that Tuesday & yesterday went to 'Media Share' between the two but the PS3 couldn't find the Vaio.
I went into WMP & clicked on 'Library -> Media Sharing…'
The PS3 was there as Unknown Device which is what it should be but I couldn't do anything with it apart from delete it, so I did, thinking that it would just re-establish a new connection afterwards, no dice…
Now it seems that the Vaio doesn't want to recognise new devices or either the PS3 isn't putting out the right signal, possible problem with 3.70??
Like I mentioned I've tried everything that I can find on the net including messing around with the DRM folder, checking/unchecking certain tasks, rebooting everything, running 3rd party Media Servers & yet none of them even show a remote possibility of establishing a connection!!
So if anybody can shine some light on it, it'd be appreciated, cheers
