The plot was good?
…
SPOILER ALERT
Plot: Two dimensional bad guy who happens to be super genius scientist ( I thought he had a poindexter look about him) wants to kill Stark for a pretty weak ass reason.
Hammer is your typical cocky idiot cliché amped up to levels of retardation I have never witnessed before. Hammer does not like Stark.
Stark is dying. Incredibly quickly too. In 6 months his blood toxicity was 20%. In 2 days it reaches 80. Wat?
Solution to everything is in the table. Who didn't know this the moment you saw the table?
Strained Avengers tie in.
The whole film was a case of join the clichés.
If you liked it, cool, but it was not a “good” movie. It was badly written, badly paced, and badly presented.
From your taste in movies I can assume you're pretty young and impressionable. No doubt in a few years time you'll look back at Avatar and Iron Man 2 and wonder what the hell you were thinking.

2012 – Very depressing movie..
Iron Man 2 – Im very disappointed. The end seemed rushed and there were like only 3-4 fights in the movie. Its just a decent movie was the complete opposite of what i expected.
Funny how the original Iron Man also had three fights, and you seem dissapointed. Yes, I agree it was not the greatest movie, but I can bet in some cases the movie will be better the second time around. The movie had much more talking written in the script, but we must also remember that a large portion of the first was Tony actually getting his kicks in with the suit, which is why it seemed so much more entertaining. Where as here, the deed is done and theres more of a need to create a plot and fill in the space of two hours.

However, the movie was entertaining, and it kept me awake.

First of all, Im not 'impressionable'…and i guess 16 is 'young' in your definition. but seriously, just because im young MUST mean i cant like something you dont? I'm done.
Somewhat on topic: I do want to see the losers.
May 10, 2010 at 11:10 pm #61832RevenantMemberAt 16 you're no doubt impressionable.
I never said you couldn't like the movie either, but as you get older you'll start to look for different things in a movie, and you'll realise just how bland and rehashed films like Iron Man 2 and Avatar are.
May 11, 2010 at 12:07 am #61837I773D33MABL3MemberCareful man, you keep up the bashing and they're going to have an Avatar Pride Parade.
I watched The Boat that Rocked the other night. Not a bad movie. I have no idea which one of the fledgling story arcs was meant to be “the plot” but then neither did the director because none of them seemed to last for more than two or three scenes.
Not that I want to detract from the movie too harshly, the cast are hilarious and more than make up for any directorial errors.

Thats why. Its understandable in the first one because as you said he's getting used to the suit and thats why Iron Man 1 was entertaining. For the sequel, I think there should have been much more fights than the originals because hes IRON MAN. ***SPOILERS The last fight with Whiplash was like 2 minutes long when he actually pops up with the big suit SPOILERS***
PCU
Land of the Lost – Funny
ZombieLand – LOVED IT

But yeah it isnt my favorite movie. Avatar still is. It will stay like that probably till Avatar: The last airbender. And some other movie i forgot the name of.
I saw a trailer for that movie at the cinema and when it said the last Airbender everyone in the cinema pissed themselves laughing was one of the best fails i have seen in quite a while.

May 16, 2010 at 7:04 pm #61954GHOST305MemberI recently saw the Losers…it was pretty good. It had a good mixture of comedy and action in it. Probably gonna see Robin Hood or Iron Man 2 next.

Is there a reason behind the “Crap” comment? or is that just an opinionated “Crap”?

I just really wasn't a fan of it. I just found it boring overall. I always thought Robin Hood was such a joyous fable, and then this movie comes out, and turns everything way to serious. If you like that kinda serious stuff, then I'm sure you'll like it, and there was a few good action scenes, but other than that, its really not that interesting. Crowe is really bad in this movie, it looks like he hated the role, or hated the director. However, Cate Blanchett was very good imo. She stole the show.
But overall, I just didn't enjoy the movie.
