The legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga Hoole
quite good for a film about owls. didnt think id like it this much.
i watched that about 3 weeks ago when I was on holiday in the isle of wight. It was pretty good actually, the 3D in films is always amazing but this seemed better than things I have seen before.

Shawshank Redemption – Love this movie. Excellent story, acting and SUPERB dialogue.
Mystic River – Another great movie, the ending plot twist always surprises me!
Jackass 3D – Good for a few quick lolz but nothing that great.
Shutter Island – This movie gets better everytime I watch it! definitely one of my favorite films ever! Leo is such a great actor.
Aviator – Another amazing Leo movie. One of his best performances imo.

Vampires Suck – it was a balance between dumb and funny.
Twilight: Eclipse
Knight and Day
Killers
Faster – thought it was good, lots of action though Dwayne Johnson was a man of few words throughout the movie, in my opinion.

December 16, 2010 at 12:58 am #68401I773D33MABL3MemberJust watched a pretty strange one I'd recorded on Sky; 'Franklyn'.
It was described as “dark fantasy” and was about two cities that mirrored each other (one normal and one evil and twisted) with the inhabitants affecting not only the lives around them but also their mirrored selves.
Well that was Sky's take on it anyway but it did get a lot more complex than that. I won't go into detail as I didn't quite understand the whole thing and I might let something key to the plot slip. I did enjoy it though (semi-confused as I was) and I'll probably give it another watch to try and get my head around it.

It was a pretty good movie give it a 7/10

This? It's just that the description and trailer seem to have little in common
Sounds interesting though…
December 17, 2010 at 12:16 am #68352I773D33MABL3MemberThat's the one all right. The trailer's slightly bollox. There's probably only about ten minutes of fighting in the whole film. It's definitely worth a watch though.
December 19, 2010 at 8:09 pm #68429monkeymoobsMemberjust watched Black Dynamite probably one of the funniest OTT movies I have ever seen heres the trailer.
December 20, 2010 at 12:12 am #68432parnakasMemberTaxi Driver.
Awesome movie.. De Niro is so cool. The ending still has me confused though. No idea what happened.
December 20, 2010 at 8:57 pm #68439Doc-BMember@monkeymoobs – That looks like some funny sh!t man… That kick at 0:18 was worth the watch IMO, lmao. 'I am smiling' The 'one-liners' in the trailer alone are sweet, i can't wait to check the film. Good call
If you like plain stupid films you should check out Kentucky Fried Movie… There's a half decent Bruce Lee spoof 'film' half way through the 'film'. It's pretty old and might be a bit to stupid for some…
Have you ever watched – Police Squad? You might like it…

I'll check both of them out I've heard about Police Squad before but never got around to watching it
December 21, 2010 at 11:47 pm #68445parnakasMemberTron Legacy.
Hmm not sure if I liked it or not. Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The graphics and music were amazing. The storyline.. not so much. Kinda felt rushed, and I didn't really find myself attached to any characters in particular.
Ok movie.
December 30, 2010 at 9:35 pm #68520emdeepeeMemberScott Pilgrim vs The World followed by Hot Fuzz (although I was having a bit of an Edgar Wright moment I never got round to digging out Shaun of the Dead).
Watched Alien this afternoon, so gonna watch Aliens now
