A lot of hate being piled up on metal's doorstep, I'd like to carry the flag in it's defense but nobody's actually given a solid reason that I can reply to.

And what the hell is screamo before I inadvertently defend that as well?

I can stand almost any type of music except those that involve Yodelling and the use of hand farts.

I can't stand todays version of rap, i liked the old school tupac and nwa but the rappers today are epic fails. Anyone who disses metal i suggest trying to play an instrument at a standard that the greats do.

I really have a varied taste in music I could listen to nearly anything except opera!

I could go from Mettalica to classical in one song!

hand farts? I'm pretty sure that doesn't even count as music, but yea I could see why you'd hate it. never heard of that one before, geez. the funniest part is that guy said there was 76 years of practice between them… thats… about 25 years that each of them have been doing that. rediculous.

Screamo is bands that instead of singing, scream. It is a little annoying, as you can never understand what is going on. Some bands like Alexisonfire and Protest the Hero sing and scream, which is okay for me. But when bands do all screaming, it is very annoying to me.

exactly. But bands that sing too are half-decent. Protest The Hero are awesome, and Alexisonfire are amazing.

obv better than screamo. Their singer (not screamer), Dallas Green, is absolutely amazing. The best singer of our generation next to Serj Tankian.
