Navigating Forums..

So, as I was wondering something about an older game on here today, I wanted to search the forum to see if there was already a topic. Now either I am just slow and I'm missing something or searching on here is very difficult. Using the search menu only yields results of actual trophy lists. So if the game your looking for isn't a forum topic under Retail Games (I understand why some are and some aren't, but how often is that updated?) you have to look under “Other retail games” which is now 17 pages long and has a bunch of different topics for the same game. I don't know that I really have a point besides this is difficult and is there an easy way to search the forums? Sorry if this has been asked before and this isn't me complaining about the site because I love this site =]

Which game was it out of interest?

I can find the search feature a bit of a pain but I'm not sure what you mean when you say it only pulls up trophy lists… Whenever i do use it, it pulls up threads relating to whatever search word i use. Both threads with the word(s) in the title, or even just within the thread…

Or… If you do feel like looking over all the old threads, try using Ctrl + F  –  This way you can easily check to see if the word(s) you are looking for is on the shown page without checking every thread title yourself… Hope this helps somewhat

I usually find the search bar on any site frustrating at times. 

Try to narrow down your search as much as possible.. Go into the forum you think it is in, type the game name, then make sure Match Phrase is checked.. which is beside the search bar. That usually helps me.
