You know, I never really liked the NFS games. Underground was good. That was the last one I remember as being special.
But this one looks pretty darn awesome. The Zonda in the trailer had me wanting it. I love the way Criterion portrays speed in their games. Burnout Paradise really felt like I was going a billion miles an hour with my foot through the floor of a GT concept, and then flying over the Surf Island bridge at 200 feet.
This better have the same feeling. <3

August 18, 2010 at 10:18 am #65410XeroTheGreatMemberNeed for Speed Underground 2 and Most Wanted were brilliant games, but after them the franchise just went downhill. The trailers always make them look good, but they end up being exactly the same as the last game.
August 18, 2010 at 2:06 pm #65415KnoxieMemberi'll admit it does look pretty damn good but so has the last few and look what they turned out like. i dont know what to make of the police chopper and whether it'll be a good idea or not but hopefully this will get the franchise back on track
August 18, 2010 at 7:39 pm #65423parnakasMemberHopefully they can revive this franchise. I remember it being so good, but then it just kinda died and became irrelevant. This looks promising, but like Knoxie said, the last few have looked great, and turned out to be disappointments. I guess we can only wait and see how this game turns out.

Shift was the best NFS game since Hot pursuit 2 hands down , because it wasn't trying to be “The fast and the furious” game , and the cars are great . I really hope that the days of a skyline being the best car in a game are gone for good.

December 25, 2010 at 8:34 pm #68467MONSTERENERGYLIZMemberNeed help with the online trophies, if anyone has it, please add me. Merry Christmas everyone! =)
December 26, 2010 at 12:40 am #68468Doc-BMemberI don't think there are really any online trophies that should be a problem? Aren't they just – 'play 10 games of X as X' or whatever…
Unless you have less than 5 friends playing it, then the 'socialite' trophy will be unattainable.
