you have to be 18 to go into a bookies and place a bet. doesnt mean i do go in does it?

No, I guess it doesn't.

I don't care much for betting. Seems a waste of cash if you lose.

All forms of gambling are a waste of money but it just comes down to chance, I never place bets on sport though i'd rather play poker at the casino.

to me once in a while i think its ok small risk with big reward say put a tenner on a correct footy result at 12-1 £10 is worth risking for the reward of £120

Yeah but if you are always putting money on and end up spending about 300 quid, then you win 300 quid, it's seems a waste of time and money to me.

But, each to their own I guess.

I put on a £1 football accumaltor.

I pick like 8 teams I think will win their game and if they all win I get between £150 and £1000. It's well worth it

Also, don't forget, the thing about betting is some people just like the intensity, and the suspense.. i mean, i don't, i would rather save my money, but my friend just loves to place bets, because he just loves the sense of suspense he gets knowing that money is on the line.
