hey, i just got a new computer.

its a MAC… finally.

and my god, mac is soooooooooo much better than anything else! its the best!!

i like macs aswell just i can only use em at school dont have one at home i also find macs more user friendly than windows for some reason

I disagree!

MACs are good for people who like to do casual things.

PCs are better for development programs, playing games, and PC modding especially.

Each have individiual strengths. I will always prefer Windows on a PC, because I can exploit it more to my needs.

a MAC won't give me anything i need for a computer.

ditto to shadeblack. and on top of that comment, MACs piss me the hell off, cause they are so limiting. I've been programming for almost 13 years now, and am very used to manipulating things on a pc to do what I want, when I want. MACs dont give me that option.

i use a lot of recording software, and the MAC is way better for those. On my old PC, my recording software did not work well. Now with my MAC, my studio work sounds better than ever. By the way, im talking about music software…its way better on a MAC.

I have found that my MAC destroys my old PC..

shade and bigwoop by any chance were you to grown with pc or ith both since i find people who have used pc's longer find mac awfull n same but for macs find pcs awfull i been round both and i prefer the mac unfortuantly im stuck with a xp laptop 🙁

yes of course i grew up with a PC on Windows, but that doesn't mean what i said isn't true.

I don't think macs are awful I just said that a mac doesn't appeal to my needs, and a PC does.

i dont use mods or whatever, so i cant really comment on that.

but for recording software, MAC performs beautifully, the built in mic is very clear. I have my own mic though, but im starting to just use the built in one.

And I've always hated Vista…its very annoying. XP was better

LOL I have notist this every time a new windows has come out…

Windows 95 OK good…
Windows 97… Completely crap…
Windows 98… fixed the 97 bugs but was worse than 95…
Windows 2000… fixed 98 bugs, but was somehow worse than 98…
Windows ME… as if 2000 wasn’t enough… they had to bring out another one…
Windows XP… Changed everyhing, dos was backwards, nothing relied on floppy disks any more and it completely ruined windows, but eventually everyone got used to it some how….
Windows Vista… Just as everyone got used to XP… they bring this out which is absolutly crap.

I just like the style of vista and how user friendly it is (It hasn`t punched me yet lol) also i have never had no problems with it (except when a `mate` gave me a trojan once) but different things suit different people i guess………

when it comes to getting something done on Vista though, then good luck. I use XP (actually went back to XP because i hated Vista so much), and to be honest, if you can find the right themes, then you could actually make XP look like vista, or even find better themes.

Vista: For people who get distracted easily by the glass effects and not actually seeing how crap it is

XP: For people who want a sturdy machine that'll get the job done.
