New T.V on a budget

I was watching something the other day, and they were interviewing a dude from panasonic, and he said that they are going to be going for around $1000-$1200 more that an equally “equipped/sized LED”, and that they will be packaged with the glasses (obviously). I just don't really see it catching on with the mainstream consumer.

After 3 hours of watching Avatar in 3D I left the cinema with a splitting headache that lasted 24 hours. If this is gonna happen after every gaming session (whether its a 1 hour or 3 hour session) I'll probably opt out of this revolution.

Its wierd – my sister complained of the exact same thing, and I had to ask if she was being serious or just saying that it was frustrating to watch – she was serious. I had no such experience. It must have something to do with how your brain is processing the image, since really the 3D is just an illusion created by tricking the eyes and brain. That kinda sucks – I wonder if the non-glasses tvs I mentioned above would still do that to you.

I can't watch camcorder footage either, so Blair Witch Project was a pain cause I didn't want to leave the cinema in case people thought I was being a pussy!!!

For some reason Timesplitters always left me feeling dizzy too

Like you said probably something to with the way my brain processess images.
