I've recently got Digital Fortress by Dan Brown, that sounds good, and I should get round to reading it soon (I'm not the book kind of person lol)

May 21, 2009 at 11:38 pm #26434Ps3 FreakMemberMy Favourite authors at the moment is Christopher Paolini, he wrote books like the Eragon series (The movie is CRAP!, its an insult to the book). Its an interesting read for anyone with an imagination…

if you are a long time trek fan, you amy be disappointed. The new star trek has a very dumbed down story, and focuses on the action. Which is fine, but i dont know how people who are gonna see this for the story will react.
Nope, I hate all the original Star Trek stuff… it's painful to watch. I'm not a star trek fan at all actually…
But I want to see the new movie, because I know it's going to be excellent.
Everyone compares stuff the original stuff now – for example:
The lord of the rings trilogy was excellent, but people complained it wasn't as good as the books.
The second and third matrix movies were poor in comparison to the first.
etc, etc.
I submit to you, that they all have the same answer.
They are not trying to be their previous counterparts. When I see a video game movie, I don't play the game first and then expect to watch the game I've played. I expect to see a good movie in it's own right.
I'll tell you all, that you will enjoy these types of movies much more if you treat them as seperate movies, rather than something you've already seen or played before. Otherwise, you'll just be let down again because you're automatically thinking it's going to be something it's not. This is passive negativity and it's not needed.
May 21, 2009 at 11:58 pm #26451Atomic-GMemberyour righ their shade but i do tend to compare remakes to the origanol since i dont like it when they make a remake of a film and completly ruin it but i love the remake of halloween i much prefer the new hallowen than the riganol
