Well if you're playing bass then it wouldn't be too much of a jump to pick up the guitar as well. It won't work in a live setting but you can at least record something. And there are plenty of bands that just stick with two guys and are unreal; Darkthrone and Cobalt being two that spring to mind.

Yeah I should, I practice vocals on the side as well.
Alot of Black Metal is way too similar which I find frustrating thus i’m looking for a different sound, something revolutionary.
You should check Skuldom, awesome NZ Black Metal band.
Hot Female singer and theres no guitar only two layers of bass, one equalised.October 31, 2010 at 11:22 pm #67745emdeepeeMemberThe details of my life are quite inconsequential… very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum… it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

Oh, and one other thing…………….It's Dr. Evil, I didn't spend six years in Evil Medical School to be called “mister,” thank you very much
November 1, 2010 at 8:02 pm #67757parnakasMemberWell I'm a little late on this.. but what the hell i'll go for it.
So I'm Parnakas, and I've been on this site for a LONG time.. almost too long lol.
My first and only love is my guitar, Gibson Les Paul custom, with a burstbucker pro 3 Zebra in the bridge and a P-90 in the neck, best pick-up combo of LIFE.. much better than any other humbuckers imo. I have a Vox AC30 amp, some fun pedals, and I just love playing guitar. If you want to discuss guitar at all, set up a thread and I will definitely contribute.
I love music, almost any kind, I lean more towards rock music, but I'll listen to anything I think is good. Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever, I also love Muse, Mars Volta, The Doors, and a whole crap-load of other bands that I wont bother to name. I'm in my final year of high school, hopefully going to college in September of the new year..
I also love gaming… Obviously.

I'm called Liam, 16, come from Wales, been on the site quite a long time now, and even before i joined i was a `stalker` using this site for trophy lists.
You can refer to me by my nickname of `Kog` not to fond of `King`alone, sounds too common and cliche. Started gaming with the Sega, good ol' Sonic days, the it was pokemon red on the Gameboy, before getting the PS1 and the years of Driver 2 then began. Got my ps3 back in 2007, didnt get on psn until early 2008 (the first game i ever played online was Burnout:Paradise), used to love collecting trophies when they first came out, slowly lost the drive, now i just get what i can along the way of playing the game, except under certain circumstances (ie Fallout New Vegas, where im determined to plat, but not necessarily via rushing it!)
Other than gaming; i enjoy playing guitar, i play on a tanglewood les paul in the style of the 57 Gibson Les Paul thats been set up professionally to my likings, along with top notch triple humbuckers on it. Reading books, mainly stephen kings. Listening to music, pretty much only oldies, quite varied i.e Pink Floyd, The Who, Cat Stevens, Led Zeppelin, Simon+Garfunkel etc etc. (and as seeing Ratchet mentioned it) Martial Arts, i've studied kyokushin kaikan for around 9 years (started lessons back in a primary after school class at 7! however then it wasn't kyokushin, i started that after 4 years), also did taekwondo alongside in another class for about 5 weeks, but it wasn't my style, so i dropped it
I'm currently in 6th form in my school, studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and the Welsh Bac, and would like to study medicine in uni.
So welcome all new people, enjoy your stay etc etc's
That's a nice guitar. I play an Epiphone Les Paul Custom 50th Anniversary edition. It's black with gold detail.
November 3, 2010 at 2:59 am #67788Oz-MetalheadMemberIs it just me or is it that most gamers/geeks are muso's aswell? It's awesome none the less.
Actually, yes I do remember defending metal with you. A loooooong time ago. I don't remember who it was with though.

November 28, 2010 at 5:53 am #68187khaoschickMemberSigned up over a year ago but haven't started posting until earlier this year so I guess I am fairly new to that. My name is Ashley, I'm 18 years old, and I am a twin. Soon I will be attending College to major in Criminal Justice. I'm a nice and fun person to talk and game with on Playstation 3. I am mostly into racing games, but I do play others as well – if you'd like to see, click on the 'khaoschick' link to the left to view the progress/games I am currently playing. Anyone is welcome to add me, just let me know you are from APT so I don't deny them because blank requests throw me off.

November 22, 2011 at 11:40 pm #71171scotty243MemberHey to all on APT.
PSN: scotty243
I play PS3 and PC games but rarely play the multiplayer parts of the game unless it's required to get the platinum or I really like the game. When I'm online I usually like to chat if anyone wants to and try to rack up some trophies. I consider myself a little above average gamer. Oh and usually when a game has a cooperative mode like survival or co-op missions I usually spend some time playing that with a few friends. Add me if you like.
November 21, 2012 at 5:14 am #72516AGENT_P6MemberHey everyone
PSN: AGENT_P6
I've been looking for a good small sized forum to call home and I think I've found it (there's lots of registered users but the “end of the road” thread shows that it's down to the last few solid members. I think that's cool because I get to join a small tightly knit group that I know is dedicated because they stick around through thick and thin.
I have a pretty big collection of PS3 games (about 50 on disc and 20 on my HDD), as well as a few 360 games and about 30 for PC (mostly on Steam but I do have BF3, Spore and Deadspace 2 on Origin) Feel free to add me on any platform except 360 (I'm rarely on the XBOX so no sense adding me there really)
I enjoy pretty much all game genres. Would have to say my favorite online memories are with Black Ops 1 zombies and MAG and my favorite single player memories are with Metal Gear.
I enjoy doing video game capture, edit and upload, especially for trophy guides, which I also enjoy doing the writing for. I have all the bells and whistles to make it happen too: Fast PC, Hauppage HDPVR, *Somewhat* reliable video editing program…maybe I could help drive a little more traffic to the site by getting some trophy guide content up on youtube, write and posting links to APT in the annotations and description. Then submit guides here of course, embed the videos, etc.
See ya round' the forums!
