Lucky Find – BRONZE – Load up the Treeless forest level on Tiki Island. Your objective here is to get all the levels secret coins and the gem in one tree. There are 3 sets of 5 coins and one gem. Just load the level and run left through the trees. If on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd tree you only some of the drops, immediately pause and restart level. Ideally you will run through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd tree and get nothing, then it's a lock you got the trophy. However you can just walk right into the 1st tree and get the trophy right away.

Zero Carat – BRONZE – This level is fun! The difficulty of the normal level has been reduced significantly to make up for the fact you can't use bombs or buy any new towers/ bonuses.

One quick note. In case you didnt already know, you can move around this level a bit faster as there are two passageways in the rocks. In the center of the screen there are two leafless trees surrounding a round green tree. There is a passageway to the left of that. Also at the bottom left of the screen there are two evergreen trees next to a leafless one. The passage here is to the right of the leafless tree.

Ok, this level is really easy. At the beginning spend all your money on arrows in the center of the screen. After the initial 2 waves I'll buy a cannon at the entrance and an AA on the circular tree surrounded by the bald ones. ALL your time from here is spent on the AA til it turns black.

So nearing the end of the level, your defenses should look like this: Cannons at the entrance, arrows and 2 AA towers in the center (Both AA do not need to be black, one purple is fine!)  and cannons at the end. Make sure that you have cannons on EVERY tree before the boss comes out too as he takes a bit to go down.

Wishing Well – BRONZE – Easy again. There is a trick to this level!!! Don't worry about getting your kills over the water. Play the level with a normal strategy and save your money and gems. At around wave 13 run out to the three trees with the water just above them and just repeatedly buy and sell arrow towers til the trophy indicator shows a checkmark.

If you want some assistance with a strategy, here it is:

There are 5 trees in front of the hut. when the lvl starts build 4 cannons here and the highest tree will be an AA tower. I also bought lasers but only built 1 Laser tower (to the left of the hut) and immediately got it to black spending gems. You can make the AA black as well if you want. When the level is close to complete, change all towers to cannons again….although I had so many gems left, I nearly bombed the boss to death.

Scrooge's Return – BRONZE – This one is definitely the hardest in Encore! Play this level a few times to get used to the pattern of incoming monsters. After a couple playthroughs to wave 20, play again and this time make sure you buy the interest upgrades as soon as you can. You're gonna want to try and rainbow this level, cuz you need those gems ASAP!

When you get all interest upgrades, you can then spend gems on upgrading towers. Fortunately the boss is the easy one here so your main concern is the waves.

Theres a bit of a trick to this level as well…When the boss comes out you can sell the towers as he passes them and collect the $ for it. When his health gets really low, sell the towers in front of him as well to make sure he dosen't get any more damage. Sell all towers you have and kill him with a bomb. Depending on how many towers you had you might be able to raise an extra 1500-2000 to hopefully get you over the 12,000 needed. This one might take a few attempts, but you'll get it.

Black Flag –  SILVER – the last trophy in this set gives you a break. For this one you can never sell a tower, and at the end of the level all towers must be black. Arrows are great here with their large range (and black arrows pack a punch too). I find the fastest (and most gem-efficient) way to upgrade any tower is by standing on it til it turns purple and then spend 3 gems to turn it black.

Once you get about 500 bucks after building your starting defense, DO NOT leave the tower you are standing on to collect coins!!! Only ever leave for a sec to get any dropped gems, and preferably after all monsters are killed to make sure you get the gems in one sweep. I just loaded this challenge for the first time in a year before writing this guide, and I let a few monsters in…still finished with 8 towers total, 3 black arrows around the base and 5 black cannons (3 black cannons to the lower right of the hut, one at the top of the screen and one to the upper left. No worries about a perfect clear here.

So thats it for the encore trophies. Most of these are pretty fun. Also, if you're not a total trophy addict, make sure you play the levels as well in game mode. I'm (currently) rank 201/40000 in single player and rank 54/30000 in 2 player (My GF loves this game too!) Can't wait to buy PJM Deluxe on PSN tomorrow. Later!
