Playing the PAL version of EyePet on a North American system…

Does anyone know whether or not trophies can be unlocked in North America while playing the PAL version of EyePet? I want to import it from across seas because I have no interest in playing it with the Move. If I import it, though, can I still unlock all the trophies? I can't believe that all North Americans who have been waiting two years for EyePet are now getting the Move shoved down their throats. I already had the PS3 Eye so all I needed was EyePet. It would've cost me $50, tops. Now it'll cost me well over $100 to play it here… unless I can import it.

I believe you will be able to unlock trophies.

I have some games that are from the EU store (Downloaded games though..) and the trophies work fine. So I am assuming that the trophies will work.

Alright. Thanks, man. There's just one trophy I'm not sure about. It's for downloading a costume off the PS Store for your animal. I know the Europe store has free costumes but I'm not sure if I'd be able to open it on my Canadian account. Still, though… I really don't want to get the Move right away just for EyePet.

Dude i'd recommend you wait for move, eyepet is real bitchy with the PSeye, the game is hard.

I had a game from Australia and a game from Canada and I played it on my PAL system and got plat 4 both so it should b fine.

You should be fine using it on your Canadian account. An easy way to double check would be to play something you bought on the Canadian store on your European account and see does it all work okay.

I'm pretty definite it does. I remember using my LBP costumes on multiple accounts.

Well.. Im not too sure about the costumes. I know that some DLC is region locked. I couldn't use the Warhawk Map Packs that I game shared with my friend on an EU account on my Canadian account, and I also couldn't use my LBP costumes.

But if its a free costume, then its fine, because if it doesn't work, you didn't waste any money on it.

Really? I used all three map packs for Warhawk on accounts from four different regions and didn't have any issues. Did you have the disk or DL version of Warhawk. I know the DL version was locked to a single acount.
