Lol i've never thought of it like that! you might just be right parnakas lol. but there are still some things missing from HOME to be able to say it's really the real version like those trophy case things

yh in my opinion they are calling it a beta incase it crashes so that they can say “oh well we expected these things from a beta”

i reacon home is completed aswell i sorta agree with post above i also reacon they have it as that so they can add more rooms and say we had this for agest just thught now would be best time but to be honest not many people really care about home i just like the fact its a ree socialzing griup in which other can speak to one another but they need to bring back mic chat NOW

HOME is definitely still in beta form. Look around at how many unfinished things there are in it (especially in the mall). One thing that would be nice is if the interaction was a little less stiff… like if I could jump and move different things without having to use a menu system (like pull and push objects with a grab button?). I'm hoping eventually they'll give us more customization options without having to pay a dollar for a virtual t-shirt and other BS charges like that. The only thing I really use it for so far is every once in a while I hit the mall for a quick chess game. Little free mini games like that are real nice, the pool isn't too bad, the bowling is decent, and some of the random arcade machines have some decent games too. I still don't see why you would use it to launch a multiplayer game when its quicker to just go straight to the game… and it doesn't seem to support all the games, which indicates to me yet again it is an unfinished product. Thats the point of an open beta tho, try it out and complain, so they know what to fix.

I dont think they should.

I like the concept of Home. You create yourself, find more friends to game with, and enjoy the Playstation universe. It a good idea.

The problem is, the product (as of right now) is not as good as it could be.

Hopefully it becomes good.

In corrispodance to PS3 Freak, they have been doing something similar to that with the ARG “Xi”. I believe it would only need the approval of the majority of its players so it can be expanded and possibly become a MMORPG.

I have been addicted to pshome for the last 5 months, I dont bother hanging out with my friends anymore, i tell them if you wonna go bowling or goto the arcade, to meet me in ps home and doit there.

Ye umm , I dont really find Pshome something to be addicted to , although like mentioned above its a great place to find other trophy hunters or great friends to just hang out with , i just think it could be a bit improved , too many loading screens and the lack of adventure makes it a hour play and leave kinda thing

if You wish for an adventure, Become a glitcher =P Search around the town and find all kinds of fun little bugs to exploit, For example. Working on a program right now that will give you all items in the game instantly.

i was addicted to it when it first arrived i will admit, but after about a month i was bored of it, i re-visited it when Xi came out on it but i got bored of that quickly, thing the thing that put me off was you had to pay for clothes and furniture i mean i wouldnt mind if it was like 5-10p for em maybe but 2quid you’d buy 2 items of clothing for about the same price as a psn game its wrong

but i wouldnt go as far as knocking my mates off for the game

I like home when xi was on i went on almost every day but as miitch said its not finished yet when tv and pictures frame show your videos and pictures and stereos play your music comes it should be good
