So, its due out tomorrow (in the UK) at least. Anyone thinking about getting this??
Personally I'm gonna wait for the reviews (and a price drop!!) and may consider it then. For me it'll depend on the quality of the games and whether it actually brings anything new to the game experience.

I have been meaning to put this thread up, kept forgetting. I am getting mine tomorrow with the Champions Sports disc, I'm super stoked about it! If anyone else is getting this they should holla at me cuz I would love to play online with someone
I loved the wii, but didn't play it much cuz there weren't enough games that caught my attention.
September 16, 2010 at 8:01 pm #66594jenkem_addict88Memberim getting this tommarrow as well, super looking forward to the frisbee golf.
I find it odd that most people arent jumping on this bandwagon. It confuses me…

This is probably the only reason i won't buy Move… I'm thinking most of the games I'm gonna want to play will have a regular controller option, so the only real reason i would buy it would have to be for a specific 'Move only' game. And i just don't see it…
I'm pretty impressed about the pricing though… I looked at a 'starter pack' for £44, that's decent… The two Move controller 'bits' (as in not two actual controllers) and a PsEye…
Does look mildly interesting though The Star Wars game demo'd looked ok, the Harry Potter-esc game looked meh… Something like this will always shift though…
September 16, 2010 at 8:11 pm #66596jenkem_addict88Memberjust called gamestop and they told me that not enough copies were preordered to warrant a midnight opening….
and can anyone let me know when the sly collection is going to b out? ( i know i could googe it but im lazy) this is the game that i want to play the most with the move. So much effin fun, and 3 separate plats!!! woot-woot!!
September 16, 2010 at 9:01 pm #66597parnakasMemberThe sly collection should be out in November. Not sure on a date.
As for the Move: I won't be getting this yet, and probably wont end up buying it all. I need to get my hands on one to demo it out, because it does look interesting, some of the tech demos were really cool. With that said, I doubt Sony is gonna force this down anyones throat. The big games are still gonna be supporting the classic control, well at least thats what i think.
To whoever is getting it: let us know your thoughts on it. I can see the Move being big late next year or maybe in 2 years, but for now.. its not that appealing to me.
September 17, 2010 at 3:46 am #66604jenkem_addict88Memberits 3 and a half hours til it launches. I have no classes tomarrow, so assuming that walmart has it at midnight, (bc no midnight release at shitstop^^^^^^) ill give you guys a a sports champions review, as well as my opinion on sports champions. (if that means anything to anyone) thanks for letting me know about sly too parnakas.
September 17, 2010 at 6:28 am #66606jenkem_addict88Memberment to say my opinion of the hardware, not sports champions twice lol
September 17, 2010 at 12:56 pm #66608tridonMemberI'll be picking this up today as long as Blockbuster gets them in stock. I have enough credit to pick it up for free there. My girlfriend and I have been waiting for close to two years for EyePet and EA Active 2.0 will be good for us since we hate exercising in public in a gym. I'm also looking forward to The Fight: Lights Out and Sorcery, and I may give it a swing in Resident Evil 5. Other than that, though, that's about all I'll use it for. It will NEVER come close to replacing good ol' “sittin' on my @$$ with a controller in my hand” gaming with me.
September 17, 2010 at 8:10 pm #66619jenkem_addict88MemberSo after playing with the hardware for about 4 hours last night, i have nothing to say bad about the move. The controls are crisp, and it really feels like what im doing infront of my tv is whats going on inside of it lol. i cant give a thorough reveiw on sports champoins however, because i never got done playing frisbee golf and bocce ball. As soon as i play the other games ill let you know but IMO frisbee golf on SC is one of the funnest things ive ever done.
