i currently have a backwards compatible ps3 with an upgraded 1tb internal hdd, and an external 1tb hdd. the ps3 performs perfect in every way, i dont see what everybodys raving about with the new slim… yea its smaller… and has a slightly bigger hdd, but my p3 has 4 usb ports, backwards compatability, and sd card slots. why would i want a slim? i dont see any upgrade here..

i used to have a newer 80gb model but i traded it for an older model cuz i love ps2 games and 2 usb ports werent cuttin it.

lol, well i aint got 1 yet, but i think the main problem with the 60gb models is the unreliability,

I myself dont mistreat my consoles, and have got through 2 60gb consoles, whereas hearing of a 40gb/80gb console break is much rarer.

Altho i spose u cud argue that the slim may well have similair problems, they have only been out for a few months, so we havent seen the one thing sony cant properly test – long term reliability.

Anyways, for now im jus gon2 get a slim bundle from HMV, and get the 2 years extended warranty for £25 just incase
