Prince of Persia Trophy Guide
By ShadeBlack
Introduction:
Escape to experience the new fantasy world of ancient Persia. Masterful storytelling and sprawling environments deliver a brand new adventure that re-opens the Prince of Persia saga. Now you have the freedom to determine how the game evolves in this non-linear adventure. Players will decide how they unfold the storyline by choosing their path in the open-ended world.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. I loved the fact that our hero's voice is Nolan North, who plays the voice of Nathan in Uncharted, and many other games as well.
The art style is somewhat unique – some people love it, others hate it.
The trophies are relatively easy as compared to other games, and as long as you stick to a couple simply rules, the platinum can be yours within a days play.
Vital Playthrough Information:
First Playthrough:
During the first playthrough, you'll want to focus primarily on achieveing 'Speed Demon', & 'Be Gentle With Her'.
To do this, you'll have to complete the game within 12 hours, and be saved by Elika less than 100 times.
This is fairly easy to obtain, as long as you keep a tight leash on your 'deaths' and make sure you save every now and then so you can revert back when you've done something wrong. That way, if you've been saved too many times trying to do something, you can have no problems going back to that save point to try again.Don't spend too much time getting any of the other trophies, as you'll be able to do them much easier on the second playthrough.
Something that might also help reduce your time is knowing exactly what to do when the in-game puzzles come about. there are a couple 'difficult' puzzles in the game that unless you've done them before, you might struggle with. you can find the solutions to both here:
Royal Palace / Royal Gardens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiFaYU4I5gU
Windmill Puzzle 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lNAK1lz4Fs
Windmill Puzzle 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMz9vTRMVps
Second Playthrough:
If you've successfully completed the first playthrough, obtaining both 'Speed Demon', & 'Be Gentle With Her', then you can move on to any of the other trophies you've missed. Notably the 'Combo Specialist' trophy, Light Seeds & all the speedruns will be much easier when all the lands have been healed.
Trophies & Guide:
Master
Unlock all trophies.
Self-explanatory, really.
Into the Storm…
Enter the Canyon.
Saved!
Unlock Elika’s Saving Ability.
Wallrunner
Completing the Canyon.
Compass
Use the Compass.
These are all parts of the tutorial. you'll get soon after you start the game.
Heal the Land
First Healing.
Similar to the tutorial trophies, you'll get this the first time you complete the first 'land'.
Saviour of the City of Light
Final Healing.
Similarly to the first healing, you'll get this nearer to the end of the game, at the last healing.
Now who’s the Hunter?
Kill the Hunter in his Lair.
Death of a Warrior King
Kill the Warrior in his Fortress.
Death of a Concubine
Kill the Concubine in her Palace.
Traitor’s End
Kill the Alchemist in his Observatory.
You will fight each one of these guys a few times. each time they'll be a little harder than the last. during the final fight of each one of them is when you'll get these trophies.
From Darkness… Light!
Reimprison Ahriman.
Another story trophy – you'll get this one nearer the end of the game.
Explorer
Explore every part of every region.
You'll get this as you go through the game. this is not a high priority trophy – do it in leisure, not as a goal.
Block Master
Block 50 attacks.
Deflect Master
Deflect 20 attacks.
Fairly easy – if you can't be bothered to wait, find an enemy, and keep practicing your block and deflects. It may be a little tricky at first, but it's worth the practice.
Sword Master
Perform 14 hits in one combo.
This seems a little daunting at first, but actually it can be done fairly easily once you've learnt the combination sequence. it can be time consuming, so it's best advised to do this as one of the last trophies you do, or on a seperate save file.
The combination is:
Square, Square, Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle, X, Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle, X, Triangle, Square
Be gentle with her
Elika saves you fewer than 100 times in the whole game.
I did this without realising, on my first try. you just need to make sure you don't make silly mistakes during the game. and if you make too many, then revert back to your recent save.
due to the nature of this game, you should save often, but only if you've done something WELL. if you've faultered too much, abandon it, and try again. If you find it helps, designate an amount of acceptable saves for each part of the world, keep count of how many times you've been saved by tally on paper, and make sure you don't go over your target.
Improviser
Use the environment against an enemy.
You'll get this when you force an enemy, or one of the bosses to break through part of a wall, or pillar. chances are you'll get it sooner than later without trying.
Up against it
Win a wall mini-game in combat.
Similar to the Improviser trophy, you'll get this when you win a wall mini-game. This trophy is almost impossible to miss.
Ruined Citadel Runner
Run from the Sun Temple’s Fertile Ground to the Fertile Ground in Windmills in 5 minutes.
Best done when all areas are HEALED!
If you're having trouble with the route: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1XRVmE9SJI
Vale Runner
Run between the Fertile Grounds in the Construction Yards and Heaven’s Stair in 6 minutes.
Best done when all areas are HEALED!
If you're having trouble with the route: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC9qvxFhftY
Royal Palace Runner
Run between the Fertile Grounds in the Royal Gardens and Coronation Halls in 4 minutes.
Best done when all areas are HEALED!
If you're having trouble with the route: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc7M7ja_BQE
City of Light Runner
Run between the Fertile Grounds in the Tower of Ahriman and City of Light in 7 minutes.
Best done when all areas are HEALED!
If you're having trouble with the route: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RNtPaRAK4M
Warrior Special
Dodge the Warrior’s attacks 20 times in one battle.
Hunter Special
Deflect the Hunter’s attacks 5 times in one battle.
Alchemist Special
Defeat the Alchemist without using the acrobatic attack.
Concubine Special
Defeat the Concubine without using grab.
All self-explanatory. It's my opinion that you should do these the first time you see them, as the bosses are easier, and it's also easier to dodge, attack, and delfect them. that doesn't mean it's impossible to get them the other times you fight them though. so there are plenty of opportunities to do these.
Light Seeds Finder
Collect 100 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Collector
Collect 200 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Provider
Collect 300 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Locator
Collect 400 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Harvester
Collect 500 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Hoarder
Collect 600 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Gatherer
Collect 700 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Accumulator
Collect 800 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Protector
Collect 900 Light Seeds.
Light Seeds Master
Collect 1001 Light Seeds.
Chances are you'll get about 600-700 without even trying. The rest you'll find once you've healed more areas, and gained the abilities to get to the more secretive areas of the healed lands. in other words you'll have to revisit each land once you've gained a new ability. the reason why I can't give links for this is simply because there is no knowing who can't find what seed exactly.
Personally, I didn't need any guides to find them. Keep looking thoroughly, and you'll find them all. You'll have to look up specific seeds if you can't find them though.
You may also notice the last one is collect 1001 seeds. You'll get that last 1 seed when you complete the game.
Also, if you plan to collect all of these seeds, make sure you do this on a seperate save file, or after you've done the Speed Demon trophy (near the end of this trophy list).
Speed Kill
Kill 10 generic enemies before they spawn.
You'll do this as you go through the game. it's where you slash through the enemy before they take form. it is possible, however, to go round the corner of that room and come back to have that enemy spawn again. though this doesn't always work.
Throw Master
Throw 10 Soldiers of Ahriman into pits.
You have to be close enough to throw them over the edge, but chances are you'll do this very quickly as most of the areas you fight on are small platforms.
Assassin View
Find the Assassin’s view.
This is located at Martur Tower in the Ruined Citadel. It's only available after you've healed the land there.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEmQExd84Hw
Titanic view
Find the Titanic View.
This is located at The Machinery Ground of the Vale. Teleport there, the view is straight in front of you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbDS4KQdX_8
In Harmony
500 coop jumps.
Just keep using Elika to jump throughout the game! (people read this as coop, but actually, it's co-op jump).
Precious Time
Take one minute to think.
Once Elika is in your arms at the end of your game. stop for one minute, and you'll get this trophy. Simple as!
Where’s that Temple?
Talk to Elika.
Getting to Know You
Get to know Elika by talking to her.
Good Company
Learn about the world, and Elika’s history.
Keep talking to elika a couple times, each time you enter a new area. You'll get this sooner than later!
Climbing to New Heights!
Find the highest point in the world.
You'll automatically get this when you do Traitor's End (the Alchemist).
Sinking to New Depths!
Find the lowest point in the world.
This is actually to the right hand side of the temple. If you're looking at the temple, it's to the left hand side. just go to side of the building and there is a small drop, which is actually the lowest point in the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EXG3zZ7aYs
Speed Demon
Finish the game in under 12 hours.
Just do the game as quick as you can. try not to spend too long fighting bosses and chances are, you'll get this without even trying – I didn't even know about this trophy and i still got it on my first try. Make sure you save every now and then. to keep track of a good time. designate time slots to each area, which you think you can stick to if that makes it easier for you.
To be continued…
The End.
No explanation here!
Combo Specialist
Find every combo in the game.
This should be one of the last trophies you get, unless you go through the game doing them one by one. the reason? it takes time to do them all, which if you're doing the trophy Speed Demon, this will get in the way of your progress. It's probably best to do this on a seperate game save, or after you've completed the game. Here's a list of all the different combos.
On a side note, I think i figured out the bug with the combo speciallist. I did all the combos again but without using counter attacks to begin any of the combos. I think a counterattack cancels out any combos. Don’t use the counterattacks and you should get combo speciallist in no time. for a list of combos you need to do:

I suggest ticking them off everytime you do one to keep track of which ones you’ve done.
If it helps, verbally speak the combination out aloud before you do them to help you remember.
Summary:
By keeping a tight methodical approach to obtaining the trophies, you can have the platinum for this game very quickly. Just make sure you don't get too aggrivated by the little things!August 30, 2009 at 11:15 pm #41164Ratchet525Membergreat guide man

yeah possibly on the first time you see him. after that he start to deflect a lot more.
also, make sure there's enough room to finish the combo.
Thanks! 😀

I didnt have this wonderful Trophy Guide that Shade has made. If you use it, it should make the platinum easier.

October 5, 2009 at 12:21 am #44850SeWoxMemberOnly trophy i have left to do is Combo Specialist and i find it the hardest trophy, maybe just because i havent got it yet.
done all the combos but still i havent got it yet.
I know it doesnt count if the last blow lead them to push them over the edge.
I played and try do this on the expansion pack Epilogue but maybe it doesnt count if you try do the trophies there?
kill before they respawn trophy workes on the expansion so this should to right?
Or maybe you have to do it on main game missions?
Cant you deflect and then afterwards start to the combo?
October 5, 2009 at 10:41 pm #44931SeWoxMemberI did all the trophies and the last one was combat specialist and i though that was the hardest, lol.
Did most of my combat moves on bosses. Enemys always fall down from the platform. So easy to make that misstake.
Yeah and dont deflect in the begining and then start to the combat. I fail when i did that. So i never pushed the R2 button trying to get the trophy on this playthrough i did.
