[PROTOTYPE] Trophy Guide
If you play this game right you can get the platinum in 2 playthroughs. You can get every trophy in the 1st playthrough except beat the game on hard so you have many to work on at once. I would suggest finding the hints and landmarks on the hard playthrough though because you're going to be in more need of the upgrades that the collectables will help afford. The pictures are from the prima e-guide so credit to them… I am not sure if beating the game on easy unlocks hard or not because I beat the game on normal first so I suggest doing the same. For any questions you can leave a post here or send me a message on the PS3. My PSN ID is CoryAllen. Enjoy the guide!

Platinum: 1
Gold: 4
Silver: 9
Bronze: 27

Story Trophies:
The First Thread (Bronze)
Unlock the Web of Intrigue.
You'll receive this trophy during mission 2. You'll be told to consume a soldier; after you consume him the WOI is unlocked.
Crossing the T (Bronze)
Complete the Hunter Boss Encounter
Complete mission 4.
Evolutionary Step (Bronze)
Use the Upgrade Menu to acquire an Upgrade.
Upgrades unlock after the third or fourth mission. You should purchase stealth consume first because it's the most important upgrade of the entire game in my opinion.
Errand Boy (Bronze)
You've completed the Specialist Boss Fight
Complete mission 11.
SME (Bronze)
Gain the ability to drive and fly all vehicles.
You will gain the ability for driving during mission 5 and the ability to fly during mission 14. You can obtain the flight abilities earlier if you infiltrate bases frequently and consume a pilot inside the base.
Children of Blacklight (Bronze)
You've completed the Supreme Hunter Boss Battle
Complete mission 22.
On Instinct (Bronze)
You've completed the Mother Boss Battle
Complete mission 28.
One Thousand Suns (Bronze)
You've completed the Supreme Hybrid Boss Battle
Beat the final mission.
Half-Truths (Bronze)
Complete a mission without causing a single Military Alert.
Refer to Mankind is a mask.
Mankind Is Your Mask (Silver)
Complete 3 missions without causing a single Military Alert.
There are only a handful of levels to get no alerts on due to the fact that most of the time you'll be fighting the military and a lot of times there are mandatory alerts in levels too. So I suggest going for no alerts on these missions: mission 5 (wheels of chance), mission 6 (a new order), and mission 13 (The stolen body). If you end up completing one of these missions and tripped an alarm during it, don't worry there is an easy no alert level right after mission 13: Biological imperative. Also the 3 no alert missions are not accumulative. You can't just beat the same mission over and over to get this trophy; you actually have to get this by not raising an alert during 3 missions. It's still easy.
Combat Trophies:
Endless Hunger (Bronze)
Consume 200 characters to boost your health.
You will most definitely get this by just playing through the game as it is. If you want the trophy bad enough then just run around consuming people until you get this.
Wrecking Yard (Bronze)
Destroy 2,000 vehicles.
You should get this trophy just playing through the game as well if you use the tank a lot. Just run over cars when you see them and before you know it you'll have 2000 cars destroyed.
Misconception (Bronze)
Destroy 25 Infected Water Towers before they hatch.
This is easiest to get in mission 16. On this mission you obtain helicopter flight skills. Fly around and look for towers being circled by crows to help locate the towers then lock on and fire away.
Return Fire (Bronze)
Catch any object tossed by a Hydra; and throw it back.
Easiest on the mission men like gods which I think is mission 23. You will get to a point where you land on the point and a hydra greets you. There will then be 3 hydras to kill. Kill only 2 of them. After that just land the helicopter, walk within range of the hydras throws, and wait for a catchable throw. Hold O or hit O at the right time to catch it then hit O to throw it back.
Gunning (Bronze)
Destroy 20 Helicopters in a single Helicopter flight.
This is easiest to obtain in mission 16 when you fly the helicopter. If you fly around near the bridge that leads out of the map or near any infected hives there will be an occasional helicopter fly by. Destroy the helicopter with the rockets so they die before alerting anyone. Then search for the next helicopter to do this to. It's an easy way to get the trophy without taking any damage to the helicopter.
Cleanup (Bronze)
Kill 15 characters with a single Whipfist attack.
Go to time square or the sidewalk right next to the outer wall of the park and use the combo square, triangle. If you're lucky you should kill 15. Keep trying until you get it. Remember you have to buy a certain Whipfist upgrade to do that combo.
In Plain Sight (Bronze)
Evade 10 strike teams.
You will definitely get this while playing through the game if you prefer to hide from the strike teams instead of destroying them. If you're impatient then let a strike team get called in. then run across the tops of buildings; when they have lost some ground on you, jump off the top of the building into an alley. You should be out of the eyes of people and can easily change disguises and they'll give up and leave. Rinse and repeat.
Threat Elevated (Bronze)
Destroy 25 strike teams.
Refer to Surface-To-Air.
Repossession (Bronze)
Seize 50 vehicles from enemy hands.
Refer to Surface-To-Air.
Surface-To-Air (Bronze)
Shoot down 50 helicopters while driving armor.
You can easily get threat elevated, repossession, and surface-to-air all at the same time. Go to the entrance to a military base. Steal the APC sitting next to it, then keep destroying and killing until a strike team gets called in. destroy the strike team with the APC then proceed to killing again. At any time if you see an enemy tank fire at you, go steal it. Keep doing this until you have all 3 trophies.
Speed Bumps (Bronze)
Run over 500 characters in a single tank.
Run over anyone that moves!! The sidewalks right next to central park is long and covered with people; that is where I did this but you can also go to time square when it is full of infected and the streets are filled with potential road kill.
Trail Of Corpses (Silver)
Kill 53,596 infected.
Obviously after beating the game you'll realize that you're no where near that many infected killed. The easiest way to get to that many killed is to replay the kill event rolling thunder over and over again. You'll get about 900 kills each time you play it. It'll be a long and boring trophy.
It's Him! (Bronze)
Patsy 5 military personnel.
This is a funny trophy actually. Buy patsy from the upgrade menu then hold R1 and press square when near an enemy to accuse them. Then watch as the soldier is filled with lead by his own people. It's funny how dumb they are.
The Butcher (Silver)
Kill 50 characters in 5 seconds.
During the wheels of chance (mission 5), you will obtain a tank with infinite ammo for a portion of the mission. While you have infinite ammo it would be smart to work on this trophy. Do this in time square or by the park like I mentioned previously. I found it easier to do by the park so I'll describe that way. Run over people on one side of the street and as you do fire at the enemies on the other side. Keep killing until the trophy pops up. Also I didn't try this way but I'm fairly sure it'll work: play the kill event rolling thunder. You can kill 50 in 5 seconds very easy with the thermobaric tank.
The Cleaner (Silver)
Destroy 10 Military Bases or Infected Hives in New York City.
Destroy hives. It's far easier to destroy a hive. If you complete all of the consume events and complete the game then you'll get the trophy. If you're impatient then hijack a helicopter and go destroy 10 hives.
Brain Trust (Bronze)
Complete all Consume Events.
These events are not hard but are very annoying. Just consume the person to start the event and do as you are told to do within the time. There are 35 consume events total.
Other Trophies:
Infiltrator (Bronze)
Infiltrate 10 Military Bases disguised as a Commander.
If you want to get upgrades easy you will enter the bases frequently anyways. You should get this trophy at the latest halfway through the game. If you somehow don't, the consume events will make you do this at least 5 times I think.
Self-Deception (Bronze)
Discover what happened to Alex Mercer through the Web of Intrigue.
Consume the WOI target James Winniger.
In The Web (Bronze)
Consume 50 Web Targets.
Refer to Web of Knowledge.
Hope (Bronze)
You've discovered the truth behind Hope, Idaho
Consume the WOI target 1st Lt. Luis Robertson.
Origin (Bronze)
You've discovered the history of Elizabeth Greene
Consume the WOI target Dr. Henrik Sebring.
Streetwise (Silver)
Collect all Landmark collectibles scattered across New York City.
This link takes you to pictures that will make the WOI, landmarks, and hints a walk in the park. Save them all. I found it easiest to print them off so I could mark them off as I went. Once again credit to prima e-guide. http://s721.photobucket.com/al…..Prototype/
Polymath (Silver)
Collect all Hint Collectibles scattered across New York City.
I found this site helpful for hints and locations you can use it too. http://wikicheats.gametrailers…..llectibles
Unnatural Selection (Silver)
Acquire all available upgrades.
I do not know how much EP it took to buy every upgrade. It is a lot. I beat the game, had almost all of the hints, had all of the WOI targets, and was halfway through the consume events before I had enough EP to buy every upgrade.
Au (Silver)
Achieve a rating of Gold or better in all Events.
Refer to Pt.
Nice Guy (Silver)
Complete the game while consuming 10 Civilians or fewer.
Do this while trying to beat the game without dying. When you need health just go to an infected area and consume some infected or consume soldiers. If you can't tell the difference between the people then turn on thermal or infected vision. The brighter ones are infected and soldiers.
Revenge Revisited (Gold)
Complete Story Mode on hard difficulty.
You must be a lot more cautious on hard. You can't play being all gung ho. You need to be as stealthy as possible with every mission. Also upgrade muscle mass as quick as possible so you can throw stuff harder because throwing stuff is much more effective than using any other weapon. Something good to do often would be to hijack vehicles. If you have to fight something tough, use a helicopter. Helicopters and tanks are your best weapons. Also make sure to always have a military disguise at your disposal.
Web of Knowledge (Gold)
Acquire all nodes of the Web of Intrigue.
Use the maps I supplied.
Hard To Kill (Gold)
Complete Story Mode in any difficulty without dying.
Just don't die. If you do then load the last game save so it won't show you've died.
Pt (Gold)
Achieve a Platinum Medal in all Events.
Ok here are the times needed for the medals and this is the format for how it's put:
