Well… has anyone else found out the standard, recommended controllers to be very poor when you look at them in a long term use?
Personally, i ended up with 4 sixaxis controllers before the release of the dualshock controllers, and 3 of them are virtually impossible to use. i have problems with sticking analog sticks, L2 and R2 buttons, unregistering buttons etc. because of this, i bought a dualshock controller, and i'm glad to say no problems yet, and has had a lot of use since christmas (when it was bought) Just wanting 2 no, any1 else had problems with controllers, or even any other hardware, i know headsets can be dodgy, and i must say my official sony one is far from perfect lol
June 26, 2009 at 11:47 pm #29112kingofgames73MemberMy first sixaxis i had kept getting the left analogue stick wedged up for some reason, also R2 button was dodgy (but i did sit on it by accident…..) but i now have 2 dualshocks and each work fine, and have had no problems with either (one i bought last summer!)
June 27, 2009 at 12:55 am #29117gamerbenMemberi have had no plroblems with my controllers, although my giotech headset (ive had for almost a year) is very distorted and hard to connect even though ive only used it a couple of times
June 27, 2009 at 1:07 am #29120Hx3 K inGMemberi hate the Sixaxis controller, at first i thought it was pretty cool, then once i used a dualshock, i find myself unable to use it, its just so goddamn lite.
June 27, 2009 at 10:12 am #29128shadeblackParticipantall of my controllers have been continually perfect for use. no problems in either the sixaxxis, nor the ds3.
June 27, 2009 at 1:12 pm #29132Casey-EliteMembermy first controller was very poor the left anology sstick kept getting stuck and PS button got stuck a few times….

June 27, 2009 at 7:48 pm #29149parnakasMembermy first ps3 controller (got the ps3 at launch) was good, just the left stick got stuck in the up direction sometimes… other than that, my controllers have been perfect, sixaxis and DS3.Â
June 28, 2009 at 12:55 pm #29177NodanodMemberLol, it seems that the DS3 are much more robust and reliable, no1 i know has ever complained bout em
June 28, 2009 at 3:29 pm #29179MiiiitchMemberYeah Dualshock’s are the way to go i’ve had 6 (4 silver, 2 black) for over a year and have never had a problem.
June 28, 2009 at 9:07 pm #29190KnoxieMemberi have 2 sixaxis controllers, which both L3 sticks are fucked & keep moving themselves… i think its bcoz of COD when i hold it 2 run as i play COD alot, i may have 2 get a dualshock one in that case
June 29, 2009 at 2:30 am #29195HypnosisMemberI have a launch ps3 and my 2 Sixaxis controllers left analog sticks are just starting to stick in the up position. I have a B-Day coming up soon and a Ds3 is definitly going on the list.
June 29, 2009 at 4:58 pm #29239parnakasMemberHas anyone noticed anything?Â
Everyone's original sixaxis has one problem. The LEFT stick gets stuck in the UP position.. weird..Â
June 29, 2009 at 5:34 pm #29245NodanodMemberYeah, lol, my left sticks went, not neccesarily up, sometimes stuck left especially, but tbh, when it got stuck it was quite handy on fallout, jus kept runnin, lol, put the controller down n watch for a few mins
June 29, 2009 at 6:03 pm #29252Ps3 FreakMemberI have two Duelshock controllers for one ps3 and i have 2 sixais for the other ps3 and tbh the sixais ones are f**ked up so bad… My mate has one sixais controller for his ps3 and it hasnt broke but whenever he uses my duelshock he simply calls it too heavy, wtf!…
