I bought my old 60 gb quite a while ago, and just inside warranty (thank god) the common problem of the blue-ray drive breaking occured.
so, after many hours spent on the phone (this was a while back now) i eventually got through 2 sony, and they swapped mine for a refurbished 60 gb. Its been goin on a year now, no probs so far, but i was just wondering how many others have had broken/working 60gbs, wheather the 20, 40s and 80s are more stable (And yh, i realise tht quite a few peeps will have upgraded their hard disk drive space)

May 24, 2009 at 3:15 pm #26600Ps3 FreakMemberI have two Ps3's one with a 40gb and the other with 80gb… both working fine except i think something wrong with the 40gb as it saves messages on every profile not just the intended one… But besides that and more than 1000hrs playing time on both they work fine…

Does having a 2nd user acccount set up on your machine have any effect on the hdd space?
60gb always seemed like a lot of memory but i've only got 4773mb left.
I've deleted all the game data and memory data of the games that i've gotten rid of. Any suggestions on how to create some more space?

May 27, 2009 at 9:36 pm #26871emdeepeeMemberHave already deleted Far Cry data, but looking through the system it would appear that LBP and Burnout are taking up almost 2gb alone and MGS4 takes up nearly 5gb! Guess its all adding up!
