I've been having trouble lately with the music player on my ps3 and so I decided to come here to see if anybody has had similar problems. The trouble i'm having isnt major but is very very annoying, with some songs I play it can't seem to play some more high pitched guitar notes. For example: with the song 'Room 409' by Bullet for my Valentine, it cant seem to play the guitaring for the first 8 or so secs of the song only the drums however it does play the next riff…and so, has anybody else had this problem or anything similar?

Is your song downloaded? maybe that copy of the song (like Ninja suggested), doesnt have those guitar parts..
If not, then i have no idea..

I thought it was the iPod because it was brand new, I thought maybe it was faulty. So I went and checked the copy on my computer and it wasn't working there either. The CD I ripped was scratched lol.

lol just because it was scratched? Weird. I have never had that issue.. and i have a lot of cds, most of which are scratched, because they were my dads, uncles, etc. Guess i am lucky than. Cool!

Knightmare – so you saved your music on your hardrive, and now it doesnt work.. If you play it from the direct cd, do you get the same problem?
The best advice i can give here, is to check what format the audio is in, after its burned onto your HDD. Maybe its some really odd format, happened to me once it was some DDFG file, or something like that. If its just a regular format, try deleting the songs, then putting them on again.
Hope that helps.

if you're able to, try converting the songs on a computer to a more standard file. mp3, wav, etc.
December 31, 2009 at 11:39 pm #54277xxKnightmarExxMemberI just tried out CD's and they work fine, and all the either MP3 or WMA format, it seemed to start doing it around the time I installed v2.76 before that it was fine…I'm at a loss now
