anyone know how much £?
and yeah looks really cool
There $500 in Australia so i think thats like £250 for you or something like that.
thanks, that sounds very cheap tbh…
i might not repair my ps3 and get a slim line but that depends on how much my repair is (i find out today)
August 19, 2009 at 2:23 pm #38590KarloS_28MemberGood Luck 🙂
August 19, 2009 at 3:47 pm #38595shadeblackParticipantthis is already on play.com at the same price as the pspgo!
pspgo just got owned too! 😛
August 19, 2009 at 3:53 pm #38597pool96Memberlol!!! I was never going to buy a PSPGO anyways.
August 19, 2009 at 4:26 pm #38608parnakasMemberSame price as a PSP Go.. that is funny. Sony owned itself!
I heard that the PS3 Slim will not come with 3.0 update built-in. Kinda strange.. I dont think anyone currently on this site will be getting one. Dont see a point of trading in your current PS3 for this. I mean, it looks beautiful, but the hardware is pretty much the same, still no PS2 game playback, PS3 Slim drops the optional OS install feature, Does not include an ethernet cable, and is not bundled with any games, still only 2 USB ports.
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08…..-sized-up/ – heres a link of all the ps3 models compared with each other.
And if you are thinking of getting a PS3 slim, wait. There is going to be a 250GB model out shortly (rumour)http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/18/fcc-document-indicates-sony-planning-250gb-ps3-slim/
August 19, 2009 at 4:36 pm #38612NinjaMidgetMemberme wants one, its so smexy!
a bit silly that its the same price as the psp go though! it is cool that their bringing apps out for the psp and comic books!
August 19, 2009 at 5:26 pm #38616shadeblackParticipanti hope for sony's sake they lower the price on the PSP Go!
I would actually consider getting one if it were a lower price.
I like the idea of a slimmer ps3, but to be honest, my 60gb original ps3 with ps2 playback still works perfectly fine! I certainly don't need one. But for those people who don't yet have a ps3, the slim version is obviously going to look very attractive.
August 19, 2009 at 6:46 pm #38620CoryAllenMemberi might consider getting the slim in a month or so. it's very nice and compared to my 80 gb it'll save a lot on power and not get so hot. i get scared my ps3 is gonna overheat all the time lol

I'm guessing you're not too bothered about your other PS3 breaking down now
I remember when my PS3 arrived I was gutted I only had a bog-standard TV. Then as if by magic the TV broke and I had to go out and buy a spanking new 42″ HDTV. I'd never been so happy at having to part with £800. Good times
August 19, 2009 at 7:28 pm #38642CoryAllenMemberoh. well get a slim then knoxie!!
empeedee i bet it's nice. i'm still with a standard def tv so i wish mine would suddenly break too lol
