PS3 (v2.50) update

The update coincides with the release of the new headset and SOCOM. If you look at the first part of the post it is about the new headset so that is the clue for the release there. So the update should actually go live tonight Oct 14-15. Which also coincides with the fact that we usually get updates late Tues to very early morning Wed.

only some games have screen grab and they all have different ways of screen  grabbing

Yes i recommend it, but i will give you a fair heads up, the console does have its troubles, and thets RROD(Red Rings of Death) i have had 4 360 consoles, and i bought my Brother in laws consoles so iv had to take his one back 7 times with problems, so in total i have 2 consoles have been back 11 times. not good. 🙁

Not saying you will have this much trouble? but almost everyone i know on my 360 friends list has had a console replaced.

Its very loud and gets very hot, my friends make jokes that its the cause of global warming and they all sit around cooking a BBQ on after a gaming session LOL Funny.

And you have to pay to play online not cool.

Ok thats out the way there are many good things, great controller, games like Halo3, gears of war and soon gears of war2, PGR series, etc are all games i play and enjoy, its also very cheap now, and the face plates are great to change to give the console a new look.

So yes its good, but be prepaired you might have troubles and pay for online but other than that you will have some quality games to play.

The 360 is massively inferior in my opinion.

Yeah same, thought they would also, PS3, Wii and even Microsofts own PC is free, and the PC service is the same, its so not fair, while the 360 online service is great the PS3 is on par with it or damn close.

I canned my 360 Subscription, i had it since LIVE launched on Xbox1 over the years i have payed out almost $600AUD for online gaming, got fed up and as of 13th Oct i canned it and just play PS3 online now for free.

and with update 2.5 out im even more happy i canned the LIVE service.

u can use printscreen on a keyboard but u can take screenshots in Linger In Shadows
